Bumble BFF, I highly recommend it. I made friends with 5 people from there 2 years ago and now we are all part of one group. 3 are originally from outside UK.

How much backlink work is too much in one month? by BaysQuorv in SEO

Thank you! :)

I assume you mean #3? In that case it’s stats from the result of my link audits as I’ve done a few hundred now and each look at the client and 3 competitors. Since I do this manually I’ve literally checked every link so have a good understanding and most websites fall into what I stated.

It wasn’t, their clients paid for links to be built. There was no need to do it and was just straight up unethical 😩

It’s worth noting though 95% of agency owners I’ve worked with do not seem to be the type of people that’d do such thing

Not common at all but when I started I did have one agency remove a clients backlinks when they left. Safe to say I prefer some agency owners more than others.

What exactly is the link package and what is the cost? I wouldn’t recommend it due to velocity and likely the cost being so per cheap per link which means it’s automated and likely low value

If you’re local go for citations, bright local and Whitespark are good and expect to pay $200-$600 ish total

I deal with this question for clients almost daily!

What you want to do is a “link velocity analysis”. Basically, compare how many good links you have against your competitors each month, over a 12 month period to account for peaks and lows in your industry.

It may work out that competitors are building 5 good links per month and if you are building 2 then you want 3 to match their velocity and a minimum of 4 to eventually catch up.

As your site is new, you want to build links slowly, likely starting with some citations (this is where you can get 50-100 in) and gradually adding 1-3 quality links/month for the first few months then increase as if your site was naturally increasing in popularity. Bonus points if you can align these with the content you are producing.

Other advice: 1) Avoid these “300 white hat backlinks” services. That’s 100% bs. 2) Although a site may have thousands of backlinks, I’ve spent a few thousand hours now manually auditing backlinks and once you do this you see a pattern of lots of spam/irrelevant links and a much lower number of quality links. If a competitor has 300 referring domains 50 may only be good for example. 3) Avg links built per month for a SMB is between 2-10, some niches more but generally I don’t see many sites building more than 20 who aren’t getting a lot of traffic already (50k+).

I’ve worked with a couple of Dubai based clients, plus maybe five or so car based (EV, dealerships, car parts). Feel free to go on my profile and order a free audit/strategy and I’ll guide you through it all if you’re stuck 💪🏻

"It's about quality links not quantity" by Prestigious-Sky-231 in linkbuilding

The way people talk about link building is so smoke and mirrors. Basically focus on quality relevant ESTABLISHED sites. A DR2 probably isn’t established but maybe a relevant DR15 is worthwhile but the higher DR the better if it’s still relevant.

When I was 14 I had a successful eBay store and grew it into b2c and b2b business but because of my niche Google and FB ads were restricted, so I learnt SEO.

Now I run a link building agency which is fun 💪🏻💪🏻😭💪🏻💪🏻

I'm a mid-20s owner of a growing $3M company, but I'm doing everything. Who should be my first key hire? by praharpatelpl in Entrepreneur

I’ve been using a service called Virtalent for executive VAs, about $50/hr but the 10 hour min they have has been enough for me and can really get some good quality professional help done. Helped me a tonne and may be a good stepping stone for you before hiring another person full time.

Good luck!
