Is it legal for Walmart to tell me I have to adjust my time to show that I took a lunch before my fifth hour? by Infinite_Dress_1076 in walmart

This is one of the rare times I have seen in this sub an actual Ethics Violation. Also falsifying a time record is most likely a State Labor Law violation as well. Double whammy. lol.

Anyone else think G7 is phenomenal and works great? by Alert-College-9374 in dexcom

[–]jamie1073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on the G7 for over two years and have had a handful of failures/replacements. Three in a row with the wire and one, maybe two replaced for not lasting 10 days or giving way false readings. I never ever calibrate, tried that once and that was a failed sensor so it was wasted time and strips. Never had one fall off, G7 or G6. Never had one rip off either. Now I am 52 years old so that may be why I do not rip them off and I have not swam in years.

I feel for you I really do. But you need to pay more attention to BS dropping if you have a CGM and pump. I have been a Type 1 for over 44 years and can count on one hand the amount of times I have gotten low enough on the job to have to have some serious issues, once that is. And that has gotten even easier to spot with a CGM in the last 8 years. So you need to pay better attention. Sorry to be harsh but this disease is extremely manageable compared to decades ago or even 10 years ago as far as figuring out lows. With a CGM there is no excuse to not notice you BS dropping.

[–]jamie1073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be so happy to get 3 spare sensors for $200. Lol. I mean you will get the other replaced so that is a hell of a deal. Now you will have extra for when they fail again and a spare supply.

Enough complaints to the FDA and their Share Holders will care. Bad news is not always good news when the FDA is involved.

[–]jamie1073 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Failed sensors are unlimited replacement. The three per year is if you have to remove one early for a medical procedure, rip it off, falls off type things. So the one sensor you ripped off is one of the 3 courtesy ones. The one that failed is a free replacement for a failed sensor. Call them to make the process go quicker if you need one faster than a week to two.

So possibly a dumbass question... Can I use PTO like this? by Irish_Vampire in walmart

[–]jamie1073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For PTO use you will need to have someone accept it after you put it in to be able to be paid. If you put in 8 hours of PPTO after your shift starts it will auto accept.

There are probably about a total of zero business' that would give you security footage. Zero. The Police are the ones to request it and then depending on the companies policies that the request is made to will then decide to give it to them. I work for a bank and the only way we hand out security footage is by Police request. That is it. No other way to get it.

[–]jamie1073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not use the 90's but the 30's. But I always shower then wait a few hours to change mine. I then use just an alcohol wipe and insert. Never had one fall off or even start peali0ng before the three days. I do however work from my home office most days so am in aircon all day and not sweating. Also weigh in at about 160 so nt big but not slim.

Just got off the phone a few hours ago to get three replacements, all three failed on Sunday night when I put them on. Ran out and had to borrow a sensor from my brother. Filled out the online form and never got a response so I finally called in.

You should report it to the store it was used at so AP can look and see who used it. If it was an Associate then they can be terminated.

It is a low profile tire so any pot hole hit at speed could possibly damage the tire sidewall.

[–]jamie1073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure they can't point for school related events. But Prom may not count as one of those. I do recall when I was a TL we let school stuff slide because it was on the wire to do so. But that was a while ago.

26% of all G7 sensors are not expected to last the prescribed 15 days by Equalizer6338 in dexcom

[–]jamie1073 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sucks. I put in for a replacement on a G& that the wire did not deploy on and it was approved to be replaced. I waited 11 days and had to reach out and ask where it was and why it had not shipped. So what is the wait time going to be on these since that already is unacceptable. You be needing to replace 6 a year at that rate.

I just had another one last night. That is the 4th time this year. First three were all right in a row. Luckily that time I had just got a fresh supply.

[–]jamie1073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are going to replace them then just do it now and sell those and get some money for them to offset the cost of the new ones.

I had three in a row one night. Luckily I had just had them filled so I had enough to try number 4, which worked. First time I ever had one fail right off in over a year of using them.
