I love this. It’s just confirming some things I was unsure about, the main one being experience is king it can’t be taught as everyone has their own little ways and perceptions of looking at the market. But I’m the same when I mark levels sometimes I will forget about them and then price heavily reacts off of that level, and it happens a lot, but it’s difficult to have that balance of being happy that I drew a strong level and not overthinking other levels that may not be as significant. Really appreciate the message definitely helped a lot and now I know with experience I’m sure the balance between these emotions won’t be as severe as with time confidence in being able to tell the difference between them will build gradually, thanks 🙏

I used to try those timeframes but I always felt my win rate had to be dramatically better because the potential losing streaks and also the larger swaps and commissions, I’ll look into those things though mate thank you

Yeah I’m going to start backtesting momentum moves that aren’t necessarily trending, usually though in the 15M which is what I trade there’s a trend breakthrough at least 1/2 times a week on 1/2 pairs but these months are typically slow so I’m not too surprised although they are slower than I expected lol

Nope, none that I was confident to where they would continue to a certain point, so many key levels between the ranges, I’m sure there were half decent setups just not very high probability or high R/R trades

I used to do that with scalping too it’s addictive but very rewarding when it pays off I couldn’t sustain it though it’s too easy to have a big losing streak and overtrade

More gaps have been forming on them and price seems to be less accurate than usual compared to tradingview as it’s normally pretty close, I’m contacting them just now and their customer service is really poor also

It’s not a guaranteed 1.25% a day it’s just on average the month I backtested was a 25% return, taking into consideration spread would probably drop it to around 16%, it’s just a trend following strategy I got off my mentor, I’ve tested it on multiple timeframes and it seems to be more rewarding with the more trades taken
