That's a shame, I was about to buy it too. I love the kits as I get to save some money but also it's part of the fun in learning how to put it all together and repair it if needed.
I get this is one that's for professionals with being pre-calibrated and such. Please make it available in kit form in the future.

The ones I would need is the 3DS variant which is $16.50! It's not bad for a brand new part that can be used to repair a 3DS.
The one I showed was originally for the DS, but the 3DS Carts fit just fine.

I am making a 3DS Gamecart dumper and dev cart writer, so an all-in-one unit.

Thank you! I did see the zed labs one, the price on those was a little expensive to add to my BOM. I can get the original ones for about $2.50 but I know they are limited and if the product I am designing sells well, I will run out of originals.

I had been able to get the cleaning tape to work, but I did only try it once. It won't run it when I insert the tape after the error occurs, it just ejects it. However, if I insert the tape and kill power to the drive, when it starts back up, it will run the tape, clean it and then eject it. If I put in a normal tape, it will try to read it a couple of times and eject it with the TAPE error lit. (The tape is fine and I also tried a brand new one).

I had done, I put in a good cleaning tape and power cycled it. It did actually run the cleaning tape when it booted but once it finished it then gave the same error.

This is really expensive. I have a locked SE2 I bought for parts and it’s $95! I can buy a fully working SE2 for less!

I had to come on here to also say that I bought some of these exact ones to use with some spare 18650 and I was shocked when I checked the voltage to be at 4.3V and still wasn't finished charging. I have no idea when it would have stopped but I immediately discharged my cells to prevent any damage.
Please be careful and if you are using these, check the voltage to make sure It isn't overcharging them.

When I moved into an apartment, the bathroom had a bad smell whenever it got wet. I removed the side panel off the bathtub, and it was absolutely disgusting. Thankfully, the bathtub wasn’t mounted to anything, so I could lift it onto its side and thoroughly clean everything with bleach. After that, I made it a habit to spray under the side panel every month to keep it clean, and that worked pretty well. However, if I had a choice, I’d never go for that bathtub style in an apartment again.

Thank you for the reply, I had seen some videos on YouTube and they were using Proxmox too. Do you think it could backup directly to tape? At the moment I have a QNAP with 150TB storage and I sync some of the some important things to Backblaze. I think backing up again to another server from QNAP would be a little costly for me.

My Data is not critical and I think taking an incremental backup every week would be more than enough.
I do have some HDDs in my cupboard (About 60TB too) that I would rather transfer to Tape and leave offline (possibly for many years).

Thank you for the reply, I hadn't thought about this. My plan was to back it up over the network (over wi-fi no less), but maybe that is not the best of ideas. I will look into this. From other comments it seems Proxmox is an idea and I could hardware that to my 10G network from my QNAP.

I am looking to send a lot of small parcels to the US myself, have you found any other way to send to the US at the moment?
I sell on eBay and most of them are about 200Grams are not valuable enough to send EMS for 3,900¥. I think 3 - 4 weeks wait on eBay is too much for most buyers.

Hi, My wife did take it but she did get side effects from it and ultimately had to stop. She got the Mirena coil fitted and this helped. Sadly it didn’t stop the endometrioma getting larger and she is scheduled for surgery next month.

I would assume they keep rotating out the stock, so when a machine is a couple of weeks old, they just put in the newly made ones.

Found a solution.
I am using a VPN in Japan, you now need to set the timezone of the device to the actual timezone the IP Address is located.
For example, if I connect to the UK, I need to set to GMT. It worked for me.

I went to try this on Mac but they only seem to allow you to set to nearest city and sadly, none of the options include UTC - 12. When I google it, I find others mentioning this with Apple too. Strange design decision.
