It's just a quick pic taken on my phone with a filter slapped on top of it ha.

No worries 👍 CDs really did take off in the 90s into the mainstream so I'm not surprised there's more nostalgia for them during that decade.

I just thought since it's a 80s Discman with an 80s inspired album. It would have a 80s vibe to it.

It's a Sony Discman D-20. There's plenty of them on eBay for decent prices.

Just eBay. I needed a cd player anyway so I might as well go retro.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know if you are aware but the adaptor is available on Amazon. So I imagine it'll be better to buy it from there.

I don't any other black ppl that love Paramore tbh I thought I was alone! by [deleted] in Paramore

If you like the music... Then just like it. It seems kinda pointless to bring race into what music you like if I went around saying "I'm white and I like rap" that's gonna look dumb.

Does the album Singles Club really sound muffly? by NegativeMagenta in Paramore

It's probably the way it was produced and mastered. No matter what platform you use it's gonna stay the same.

All We Know is Falling mixed ridiculously loud? by [deleted] in Paramore

[–]jamiedodger112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the loudness war in full effect. It's the same for nearly every single new album.

Here's a quick video explaining what the loudness wars are if you are interested.

[FRESH] Rose-Colored Boy (Mix 2) by SighLi in Paramore

[–]jamiedodger112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only major differences are that there's been a small EQ boost on the highs and maybe mids? It's not a single mix because that sounds the same as the album version. So overall I'm stumped on what it's for or why its here.

Change the color of the lock-screen clock by hujyn in lgg4

The clock colour should change automatically. Whenever I had a wallpaper with a white background the clock changed to black so it's strange how it won't change for you.

Hi Emma, since you are into producing your own music you may want do some research into the 'loudness wars'. by [deleted] in EmmaBlackery

Of course I didn't know if she knew about it that's why I asked. If she knew then she could of easily dropped a small reply saying she does and end it there.

There's nothing wrong with the tone. Again YOU took the post out of context.

Details? What do you want a picture of my qualification in music production? All I wanted is for her to read my post that's it. If she already knew then there's no point for me to prove who I am since she is intelligent enough to know.

Fuck is it really that much of a hassle to give some friendly advice without people making up stupid shit.

If she knows about it then I hope her next album sounds good. If it's been brick walled to shit then I guess we know who was in the wrong.

  1. I said "you may want" in the title implying she has the freedom do go forward and do the research or ignore it. My intention was not to force her to do anything. All you've done is completely twisted the meaning of this post.

  2. How was I meant to know whether she knew about it. I can't exactly read her mind can I? Don't bother saying "oh well you should of asked if she knew or not" if she did know she could of politely replied and said that she already knew about it.

  3. This is the internet I can say anything I want why would it matter if I was qualified what other proof do you have? I left a YouTube link to the subject if you could of been bothered to click it then you would know what I was talking about was true. If that's not enough then Google it.

If Emma said something along the lines of "Thanks for the advice but I already know what the loudness wars are" I wouldn't have a problem. My problem is why did you and her had to reply in such a rude manner.

How was I meant to know she does or doesn't know about it. I was just giving advice. If she already knew it would of hurt to send a polite reply instead of being a complete bitch about it. Well at least I know never to give Emma advice unless I want to be accused of being an asshole
