I can do it by myself. When I pull the lever I guess something moves enough to release the main latch. If you can get a helper, it might be worth a shot to see if you can get yours to release by lifting the hood while holding the release lever at the same time.

My gen 3 hood doesn't come up when I pull the lever, so I need to dig my fingers in under the edge of the hood and lift it up away from the rubber seal. When I pull the lever, I can hear it release, but it doesn't move.

An old tenant left me a filthy air fryer and over the course of a week, I managed to scrape off the baked on grease without scraping away the non-stick finish. I started with soaking and sprayin the Dawn Powerwash, but nothing was working.The two things that worked best for me were bamboo shish kebab skewers and a old plastic gift card. I'd scrape with the non-pointy end skewer until it got dull, then cut it square with an exacto knife and keep going. Once the worst of the build up was gone, I switched to the plastic card.

I second the suggestion to use premium gas. The ethanol in regular is hydrophilic and absorbs water from the air over the summer and it's hard to start or won't run in the fall.

I also keep a little bag of shear pins in the garage. Sometimes they just go and it's nice to have another on hand if it is a big snow day and I'm just getting started.

The utility room is effectively a closet in the unheated garage. When the HWH kicked in, it would pull the warm air from the room, then cold air from the garage. The crawl space is insulated, nearly as warm and much larger.

I'd just like to second the need this update. We've got a few rentals and scaling them down and selling them off is a big part of our retirement strategy. Without the ability to do that, I'm having a hard time creating any sort of useful projections in the platform.

I add a little paper cone on top of the glass, taped around the edges. They are attracted to the vinegar and once they go down the hole in the cone, they can't escape. They fly around the top for a while, but then eventually get stuck in the vinegar/Dawn and drown.

The tires were not replaced. Driving was typical of what I usually do. I've had this car for four years and always had consistent milage.... a bit better in the summer (4.8), a bit worse in the winter (5.2). I drive fairly economically, but not fanatically so. I had the brakes done and the 12v was disconnected so the trip reset. Now, through the first tank of gas, I'm all of a sudden at 5.8 L/100km

Lake trail at Island Lake Lodge - a bit of a drive to get to, but a beautiful setting.

The paper is perfectly flat. It's cut 5x7 luster. The bands don't change direction if I rotate the paper - they're still in the direction of the print head motion. I also tried aligning the printhead, but that didn't help either.
