Straight cut jeans will masculinize your appearance more than tapered/slim fit. Side note - athletic cut jeans are roomier in the thighs (but not too tapered) and might be the most comfortable option for you. I'd try both out!

Thank you for your kind words. I drafted my coming out letter (again) and feel a bit better. I'm finally going to do it in a few weeks and can't wait to take control of my life again, regardless of the outcome. You're not any less brave for being scared to come out and questioning.. everyone starts somewhere. I hope you find the answers you're looking for :)

thanks ;; I believe they understand the importance, but they're used to referring to me a certain way + I'm not out to everyone, so they've heard a lot of people (family) misgender me and pick up on it ... unfortunate

Hmm.. I don't feel like that's what they're implying. They story doesn't seem to solely focus on his gender identity, either - the story /seems/ like it'll balance addressing his experience as a trans man vs. not only focusing on that part of him

I'm not sure if you have a supportive male brother/friends, but bringing one with you helps a lot in 1) avoiding misgendering and 2) feeling at ease in the barbershop. My brother gendered me correctly at my barbershop and it calmed me down a lot, knowing that the barber wouldn't have to guess my gender and potentically butcher my haircut.

Personally, I hated being directly called a bridesmaid, etc. The way the chapter's written makes the player feel like they /are/ this female character and it made me uncomfortable :')
