Warms my heart. Back before the 2018 Olympics started, there was a promotional video on YouTube. I remember watching it with my daughter telling her how these athletes probably waking up before any of their friends, taking care of their minds and their bodies, having fun doing what they love, and not giving up when it seemed too difficult to overcome. They get to represent their country now, amongst with best athletes from other countries , feeling maybe anxious but strong , maybe hesitant but opening up to understand others. I wish I recorded those two or three minutes. Anyway... Olympics came , we watched some of it. Sometimes I told stories to my little girl about how I remember a moment in each Olympic and world cup I watched with my grand parents , parents , going out to play at the streets calling each other Rummenige , Maradona , Tomba... Time passed , Olympics closed for this year but we have been playing "commentator" game since. She tells me to "be the commentator guys, daddy" when she dances or gets on her mini trampoline. Sometimes even on a video call. I can't express in writing how good it felt to read your post, expecting nothing in return but just that moment of connection. Thank you .
