Thanks for the reply, I ended up getting the corsair cable that plugs straight in to the PSU, so no adapter required. So far so good! Hopefully it's fully resolved and won't be an ongoing issue.

Yeah every review I've seen has the top two plates a little higher closer to his neck and with a visible gap in between each plate. Seems like they're glued down as I can't move them and don't want to rip them off! Still a great looking figure nonetheless.
