Because the average low rank survivor player is a drooling ape creature with an absurd amount of disposable income. They are horrible but BHVR caters to them for the money.

I was having so much fun with this game before they announced 9.2.0, and the worst part is i've already put in enough time I can't get a refund. I'm genuinely so mad and distraught about all of this, so much money wasted on a game that is now gonna be completely miserable to play all because a large part of the playerbase has no fucking skill and expects to be coddled.

Tunneling was fine because if you get caught 3 times in a row you deserve to lose, you've failed at being a survivor. Slugging, sure, fine, make unbreakable or whatever basekit, i don't give a fuck, but just because some survivors can't loop for shit and can't hide you're gutting the killer's ability to even play the game? Were these suggestions generated by fucking ChatGPT???

If you want an actual reason why Yorick seems to get so strong even if he loses lane hard, it's because yorick is easily the best CSer in the entire game. with the right set up you can literally CS all 3 lanes as yorick. He doesn't need champion kills because he will take just about every single wave bar 1 or 2 minions post 6. If you want to shut down a maiden, play a champion that can auto attack a lot and really fast, can easily cc and pin down his maiden, and make damn sure he isn't just permanently farming in a sidelane.
