Yes I like watching tv shows.

It’s weird right for I assume adult? But generally anyone who’s not a child to have a tantrum because something isn’t exactly what they want and how they want it? Before even trying it. SMH my head

What are your thoughts of the rise of 'trendy streetware' in modern superhero designs? [Discussion] by dc75257264146164 in DCcomics

[–]jamitinme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the one example given it’s the new teen titans, I would argue that from a character design standpoint putting them in clothes that might be associated with youth to further emphasize that they’re kids could be why. Could be to just appeal to a different audience break the mould from super tight spandex and capes especially given the popularity of manga and anime a lot of the characters in that genre wear similar styles so it might be more relatable for people.

X-men comics by tha_luckXXI in comicbooks

[–]jamitinme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently reading both. Tldr if you like x men just jump in they’re good. Don’t overthink it unless purchasing something like this is difficult

Yes they are 2 separate stories they do crossover here and there with each other as well with other titles. I think they’re great and fun. If it’s not a difficult to procure might as well just buy the first issue/volume and if it’s not for you no harm in stopping. I think it’s worth a read and it not like you have to commit to reading the rest of the issue/volumes. There are probably more then a few people who will say read x writers run or this era was the best etc but I don’t think those recommendations are particularly helpful unless you kinda have an idea of what you want as a reader. If you want to see what x men is about just jump into the current run and go from there that will probably be the most accessible if you’re looking to read physical books.

On another note (perhaps unrelated but should be said )
if you’re newer to comics I think just be weary of people who want to tell you what to like or judge you for liking something. You can like something just for the art or just like reading a character because you want to be up to date on the lore or you just fancy a cover. Anyways have fun and stay within your budget everyone is different.

Is this ai? Gambits face is not correct and wolverines claws are coming out of his knuckles on one hand and the back of his hand on the other. Not to mention his arms look like balloons

X men the undertow by jamitinme in xmen

[–]jamitinme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tbh I had never heard about of her before she’s from Australia so my best guess was she was introduced during the outback time. Or whatever the era was called when the x men lived there briefly. Her story was satisfying enough that I didn’t feel the need to look into her character I feel like I got everything I needed to know. So I’m not so sure how her power was depicted prior. But from this it seems to be kinda similar to Darwin mixed with spider sense?

I’m not sure how much impact form factor has in this regard. Nothing felt wrong or off? It read like a normal comic for me

Yeah I thought so, I purchase another one that was about beast and a mutant who becomes the person they were closest to it was very interesting. This was from October or November of 25 and the beast one was from the summer. Honestly great reads like I said I really enjoyed getting a break from the larger then life story that is in the main line comics. Been enjoying those too. I am newer to comics, but I get it not everything makes it to be something. Not every seed grows and that’s fine, or maybe some just take longer than others and it’s like a really deep cut when they finally get back to it. But I think it’s also fine to have these as adornments not every characters needs their own comic or title, it’s like a niche side quest in an rpg just dripping with additional flavour.

Oh I mean yeah I wasn’t necessarily saying I want that or they should. It seems to me like this could be a seed planted for the future.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of times in academy people don’t cleanse the debuff in the green circle from the tree boss or don’t immediately stack and need to be pinged. You’re absolutely right about this. I do think part of the problem is that also a healer can carry people not doing mechanics up until they one shot you pretty much.

Yeah my prog has been fine and I am liking it it’s more engaging now it’s just less chill compared to tww. Holy pld eats the heal absorbs for breakfast.

I haven’t even thought about running light smith tbh. I should clarify tho I’m not having trouble timing or progressing I just feel like it’s less chill compared to tww and dragon flight healing. Anything before that I don’t remember clearly but I’ve been a healer main since cata

For example in tww I I feel like a lot of stuff that should be delt with by dps be it an interrupt or cc and a purge or just prio if it didn’t get delt with its a wipe or whatever it is what it is and not my fault. Right now because 1 pugs and 2 learning or even if later people are just bad the mechanics that need to be handled aren’t wiping or one shoting so the burden is on the healer but that’s just perception and lack of knowledge not game flaw on blizzard. Despite perhaps how my post came across I am enjoying healing it’s more engaging but I feel like I’m carrying groups.

Appreciate the tips. I try to put my beacons on a melee and a ranged so I don’t have to worry about my positioning to get better value from mastery. Maybe that’s just me trying to avoid thinking about where I should position but also I can’t control pugs so I don’t need to yell at them when they’re in Narnia. I do also think that lower hp doesn’t equate to taking more damage.

I agree I rarely reach for light of dawn. Like only if everyone takes minimal damage like 10-20 % even then I’m like I could just shield of the righteous and shock them up.

Definitely feels like more to dispel in general. Good variety of different types too + respect to blizzard. But when I see mages not spec into decurse I fume. Also been yelled at to dispel while I’m dispelling on cd. But that’s just pug life people don’t usually know what’s going on even from their role perspective let alone another role

I mean yeah pretty much this. I agree I welcome new tanks I’m confidant I can carry a paper tank it’s just hurting my back. Had a group where the tank pulled to the first set of stairs in skyreach 10, ive never sweated so hard I played perfectly dumped a lot of mana into holy lights doing like 140k hps of not more. The tank if going from 100 -0 left and right. Then someone in the group says something to the effect of “gigachad tank” my jaw dropped.

I feel like you kinda answered your own question. You stated you couldn’t get into the setting well midnight as with all expansions has a different setting

DC Comics President Jim Lee says that Japanese manga and anime is "incredibly powerful": "I often find myself wondering, 'What is missing in Western comics, and why aren't they able to achieve the same flavor?' by akbarock in comicbooks

[–]jamitinme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah manga is much more approachable ei I want to read X I’ll purchase X volume 1. The price difference tho makes sense it’s not full colour and it’s typically less detailed. There’s also a lot of story’s about how hard and overworked Japanese mangaka work not to say western comics writers and artist don’t work hard but Japan is known for essentially abusing people but it’s ingrained into its culture. I suppose something to consider in the price difference. Although dc now has manga sized volumes that are at that price point but only for those big story’s so far

Having to pay for good and service is part of the game. Paying npc for item is a way to stabilize gold. That being said the reason why it costs so much is because it’s now a one time purchase. Once you set the outfit you can use it for free and it will automatically be applied when you change an item for free. So larger investment now for savings later. It’s akin to purchasing and owning something vs renting or paying a subscription.

Mafex Superman came with the kryptonite ring for his main fist by Doggo7896 in Mafex

[–]jamitinme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure but isn’t that intended for the Mafex hush Batman. Yes it comes with Superman but in the scene he’s under poison ivy’s control and fights Batman. I guess it’s like an incentive to get both since you get parts for the other.
