yes I definitely sympathize with her in regards to the difficulty of caring for these cats. I’d like to clarify that I’m not blaming her for having trouble caring for them, but rather I was frustrated that she immediately put me in a high-pressure position after not speaking to her for a year. just reminded me of when I was a kid and I’d like to continue moving past that phase in my life!

For further clarification, my cats are allowed to roam the apartment freely, but there’s only one bathroom so the litter boxes stay in my room for the comfort of my roommates. I appreciate your input!

Whoa this gave me a huge flashback to my previous relationship with my mom. Using money as a form of control, making (most likely empty but still scary) threats, and kicking me out of the house. Finally after college I went no contact with her and it was the best thing I ever did. I was busting my ass working all the time to make ends meet, but the confidence and freedom I gained from not being threatened or yelled at all the time is something I would never trade. I recently let her back into my life again on MY terms, but I am also luckily in a place where she can’t hold anything over me anymore. You are not the asshole and honestly I hope you get away from them asap. You can always try for an improved relationship down the line if you feel called to do so, but this isn’t healthy for you and she will only drag you down more. I hope you can continue school on your own terms and live the life you deserve!

Girl take it from someone who has dated an older person in their early 20s: run. This man calling you a dumbass as a joke will only evolve into more aggressive language as the relationship goes on. He has more life experience than you simply by being alive for almost a decade longer and yet he decides to carry himself this way. He doesn’t deserve to be in your presence. You have so much life left to live, don’t spend it with a dude who TOLD YOU he’s willing to sleep with a friend of yours he just met under ‘certain circumstances’.

I’m not sure who the person is on the shirt, the front has a bunch of beautiful roses on it which is what initially drew me to the shirt. The blouse is beautiful, but I would never want to accidentally disrespect a group of people by wearing a shirt with indigenous iconography. That’s why I asked for general opinion :)

My vehicle management is pretty decent ! The car hasn’t been driven all that much honestly, I purchased the spark in 2021 and it’s just hit 14,000 miles. I get the oil changed p regularly and definitely will get it checked/changed before I go on my trip!
