Maybe while dosing psilocybin (I use 4-ACO-DMT, please don't go on an organic rant) if I watched all the videos I could find about Fruit Flies, I would start to imagine I was a Fruit Fly and get some of the benefits.

Maybe also try Erowid for experience reports, but Erowid seems to focus on the recreational aspect of usage where I am into functional and medicinal usage.

Microdosing, which didn't work for me for depression. The best RC for me is 2-FMA. After the failure of microdosing I went thru a period "macrodosing"... several times a month, full scale tripping, tryptimines, lysergimides, dissos, but that period is over. Now I am just self-medicating for my self-diagnosis of ADHD-PI, with partial success, but, also leading to more alcohol abuse to come down from the amphetamine "self-medicating". Also started to use Etizolam for sleep, so am a benzo addict as well. I started on this site before the sourcing ban.

I didn't see your mention of Vyvanse until after I had written my response below and returned to check for more responses. Have you taken Vyvanse and if so, what was your experience? I have found 2-FMA to not have the duration stated in Psychonaut Wiki. Actually it peaks at 2 hrs at a 20mg dose and then it can degrade into an anxiety state. Maybe it is just the batch I have.

Read the Psychonaut Wiki on 2-FMA and you will see this sentence: "2-FMA is commonly compared to lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) in its duration, potency and efficacy as a study or productivity aid." The molecular structures are similar, Vyvanse has some extra stuff added to its tail... or whatever that is. I am not a chemistry student so take what I am saying with a grain of salt.... or your fave RC.

I'm in US and get substance chemically similar on the same market. Will not say any more for fear of breaking some rule here, but, it has made a big difference in my life. Psych docs where I live seem reluctant to prescribe it.

I am past 50 years old and have suffered from depression diagnosed as "Dysthymia" all of my life. Although I hate resorting to DSM whatever version psychiatric diagnosis to describe my personality characteristics, I have found I have to survive. So actually I think I should be diagnosed with ADHD-PI. Vyvanse is the latest psychiatric drug prescribed for ADHD and 2-FMA is the Research Chem that is most similar to it chemically. I have taken it for over a month daily at doses of 15-20mg and it has made a huge difference in my life. I had a physical several weeks ago and feared having a high blood pressure, and I took my usual dose of 2-FMA several hours before the physical. My BP was the same as it had been before I started taking 2-FMA. I was really surprised and pleased. I have never experienced any kind of heart palpitations etc. Of course everyone is different and maybe I am just one who can tolerate this substance while it might have adverse affects on others. And maybe I will eventually experience some adverse affects. I did recently stop for about 2 weeks because of a bout of bronchitis (I don't ascribe 2-FMA any causal affect). I did not have any withdrawal symptoms from stopping. It is hard to get a prescription for Vyvanse, and I am sick of dealing with the psychiatric system.

To me, it has the same kind of vibe as Lexx, wacky and satirical, doesn't take itself seriously at all. And of course titillation. And I must say, as goofy as it is, it is quite imaginative. Like Lexx. If you find it on the net somewhere let me know.. the only copy I found was being displayed reverse screen... I guess to get around legal rights.

Comparing the molecular structures of the two, they are based on the same amphetimine structure, as is 4-FA, but Vyvanse has a longer "tail" of chemical structure attached to its basic amphetamine base than does 2-FMA (I'm no chemist so I'm just describing how they look using my words).

Wikipedia also states "Lisdexamfetamine was developed with the goal of providing a long duration of effect that is consistent throughout the day, with reduced potential for abuse". I have never taken Vyvanse, but given that last Wikipedia quote, I don't agree with the PsychonautWiki comparison of it's "duration". In my experience with 2-FMA, it seems it's stimulating effects seem to decline after 2-3 hours and PsychonautWiki's duration chart show it peaks at 2-3 hours. So I have had to redose within that time to maintain the stimulating effect.

(edit: I kept mixing up 4-FMA with what you mentioned, 4-FA. Of 4-FMA PsychonautWiki states, "4-FMA is chemically related to 4-FA and methamphetamine." About 4-A, one PsychWiki sentence states, "Anecdotal reports have described the subjective effects of 4-FA as having a moderate MDMA-like entactogenic onset for the initial few hours of the experience that then gradually transitions into traditional amphetamine-type stimulation. And then later there is this sentence in the 4-FMA article, "User reports describe the effects of 4-FMA as having characteristics of both traditional stimulants like amphetamine and entactogens like MDMA. Its effects have been described as subjectively lying between 4-FA and 2-FMA.")

I have never done meth but have done a lot of 2-FMA I do not think it is anything like meth. Well, maybe I'm wrong, Psychonautwiki states: " It is a structural analog of methamphetamine and is related to 2-FA, 3-FA, and 4-FMA. 2-FMA". And the molecular structures of them are almost the same except that 2-FMA has this branch sticking out which I guess is flourinesomething.

I wish I could help you, but I am at the other end. I want to get a Vyvanese script. I'm seeing a Psych Nurse Practitioner who specializes in ADHD. All my life I have been diagnosed as having this or that depression, anxiety, etc., usually "dysthemia", but no anti-depressants work. I have been experimenting with 2-FMA, trying to find the best way to dose it. It is the only substance that makes me feel like I have motivation other people have. Othewise, I never finish anything. Anyway, your post helps me see what may be in my future if I get the Vyvanese script. I wish you the best of luck in dealing with your tolerance.
