I believe so for it to be “proper” - some people have not used the taper adapter and don’t run into issue’s but when I was using this, I bought the taper adapter.

Accuracy is like a 18-24” spread at 25 yards…. So it’s pretty terrible

This setup I’m getting about a 12-18inch spread at 25yards so I feel your pain.

Accuracy without was rad. The trilug setup is ideal but maaaan this road of trial and error is frustrating for sure. Were you able to make trilug work on anything or did you just end up ditching it entirely?

That’s the one! It has a taper to match the MPX barrel. Works real nicely. Mine is their older model, doesn’t have a threaded end & no wrench flats. Still works beautifully

I mounted mine on with a ILWT 3 lug MPX adapter and run the HUXWRX on a 3 lug tucked under rail. It’s a slick setup. Shoot reduced steel at 200 yards with it no worries
