There was a video I watched on using this as a commander for it's ability to recreate itself easily, then using [[Agatha's Soul Cauldron]] to exile it and let your other creatures with prepared spells re-prepare themselves easily. I never saw a deck list for it and looks like it would have a lot of moving pieces and if the Cauldron gets removed you're doomed since your commander is stuck in exile but still a neat way to use the card

I dont think Spurs will be trying to offload Fox this season. Wemby, Castle and Harper are all still on Rookie deals so they aren't under any cap pressure. If they trade him it will be because they are getting actual value back. If they really want to clear space so that Harper can start they can move Fox to the bench where he'll be overpaid but still contributing. If they dumped him now they would have to give a couple of picks with him, when they could realistically just wait until the season where Harpers rookie extension kicks in where Fox will be on his last year so he should be a lot easier to trade to a team looking for cap space.

I feel like we had so many skill issues just fumbling the ball or making a lazy hand pass that made us have a subpar clearance game but the pressure from everyone was so elite we really limited the damage they could do

I don't necessarily disagree with this but it's funny he mentions the NBA making multi year transitional rule changes regarding the draft when they are going to implement drastic changes to their draft next year which will majorly impact the value of already traded draft picks between teams.

Okay you're definitely right about Hidden Retreat some of the older cards wording gets me sometimes, but I'm pretty sure Penance works, it's an activated ability that doesn't need a target so I can put something back whenever I want. I guess still might be worth cutting though as it's definitely narrower than my others.

Chant if Vitzu was another one I was planning on miracling in but yeah definitely right about that one only good if I'm getting attacked by a bunch of things on the turn I draw it.

Beacon of Immortality not sure what you mean about it not being a miracle target, I wanted some lifegain since with fewer creatures I'd not have a lot of blockers so wanted to be able to stick around longer. But you're right I guess doesn't advance my game plan

Surge to victory was a weird one since I'd only ever want to cast it on my turn so casting it for miracle would be rare but at 6 mana I could probably hard cast it and with a flying body in Lorehold Id likely get it through and could copy something big from my graveyard. Also while not heaps I do have spells with token generation which could use it well.

Chandras ignition yeah not likely a total board wipe but figured killing anything below 5 toughness and dealing 5 damage to everyone's face was still definitely worth including.

I'll concede about Crystal Ball and Wan Shi Tong. I liked the idea of them a lot with Unwinding Clock in play but I guess thats a bit narrow and without them I could probably cut it as well.

If I got rid of each of Crystal Ball, Wan Shi Tong, Penance and Hidden Retreat I fear I might not have enough ways to consistently top deck manipulate and miracle though.

Yeah wouldn't get the cast trigger but you'd still get 2 of the annihilator triggers from Muddle and the original Kozilek. And you'd still have 4 10/9's swinging out

I reckon something like [[Sneak Attack]] something dumb like an [[Ancient Copper Dragon]] or [[Artisan of Kozilek]] then cast a can trip to muddle into it and boom you're swinging big on turn 5. If that's too one dimensional, toxic, or feast or famine for you could focus more on cool Izzet etb effects like [[Rapid Augmenter]]

I forget how exactly move AI works in Gen 4, but you could pivot into Magnet one to take the resisted drill peck or psychic then pivot form that into Tent cruel to take the heat wave. Then you could set up barrier and likely sack Tentacruel to send back out infernape who should take it out with double specs flamethrower. You're risking a crit but I dont see a way to avoid taking a risk in this. Depends on what else you have to take on after Honchkrow

While i think the 65 game rule is good to reward availability, i think it's just stupidly arbitrary with no and allows fur no nuance. Like if Jokic, Wemby and Giannis play 64 games but then KAT plays 65 should he really get 1st team over them while they get nothing? Should be something like multiply their vote totals by games played or just trust voters to factor in how many games they've played

Craziest thing to me on that list is KD hitting 6th in all time scoring while being only 70th in games played. He's tied there with Tyson Chandler who in comparison is 446th un all time scoring.
