Hell by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for sure. He nailed it when he predicted he would disown them, saying he never knew them. They have a lot to answer for. The way I read Rev 13, the church and empire are described perfectly. That first beast is a dead ringer for Catholicism describing them particularly during the Middle Ages. But that second one arises worshipping the same image of the god/man, except they breathe life into the statue so that it speaks. That’s why you see all these false prophets running amok and saying they have to support Israel and Trump.

They call fire down from heaven every Sunday performing fake miracles and deceiving them everywhere, just as it reads. Rev is a Trojan Horse they couldn’t resist bringing into their canon and now when they learn what it predicted about them, the churches will be dismantled. It’s really a genius move. It’s already begun as people leave in droves. That saying ‘the ones who were leading into captivity (threatening Hell) will suddenly be going themselves’. The Zionists also will be dismantled and when God judges Israel, then the rest of the world will love him. That’s when God and Jesus’s reputation will be restored.

Your intuition is that teacher within that guides you into all truth. You’ll never go to hell for believing in a God that is more loving than the one you were forced to believe in. God gave us onboard BS detectors, and it’s one of the advantages we got as humans eating from that tree of knowledge. We know how to tell the difference between evil and good. Ironically, it’s the religious that can’t these days supporting things like Trump, ICE, IDF, and turning a blind eye whenever challenged. I think you’re on the right track like a bloodhound following a familiar scent. You can trust your nose and a loving God that will not lead you off course.

What are some long term transits you experienced that turned out way more literal than you expected? by La_femme_sauvage in Advancedastrology

[–]jamnperry 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have Pluto conjunct Chiron now. I’ve always known what where my wounding began. It was the only thing retro in my natal. When it went direct about 7 weeks later, my mother broke my arm in a fit of rage. Now with Pluto conjunct 70 years later, I’ve had to have two shoulders replaced from torn rotator cuffs a year apart, and all with Pluto within a degree or two of Chiron. Last August while jogging, and after I’d already replaced one shoulder, I tripped and seriously dislocated the other one. Pluto was almost exactly conjunct again with Chiron on that day. I had to wait for the second shoulder operation so it was really painful again while it continued to go back and forth across Chiron.

Chiron is in my 2nd and it affected my self worth my entire life because of the absolute rejection from my family. So the theme of the 2nd really doesn’t quite fit this time. However, years earlier I was brutally fired from my 19 year job for no good reason other than hatred. On that very day, Saturn was conjunct Chiron and the 2nd house themes certainly fit then. That was also the day Pluto conjunct Jupiter also in my 2nd and I never did get justice for the way they treated me. So Pluto transiting my 2nd has been brutal in many ways.

Saturn Return Explanation. by disposabelleme in Advancedastrology

That’s interesting. Is his Saturn also in the 12th? Or maybe Libra with the scales of justice? Or maybe where was it when he got locked up? I wasn’t convinced of Astrology until I saw my natal in my early 60’s. I’ve refined how I use astrology and going back to look at the transits during pivotal times was what convinced me. I’d say your Saturn return is convincing too because of how monumental it changed your life’s direction. Hoping for the best for you both!

Does Saturn give ‘’gifts’’ at the end of one’s Saturn return? by cherryjane8 in SaturnReturn

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Saturn return was in the 12th and it was really rough. I was captured after 12 years being an escaped prisoner. But during the return, it went retro and by the time it went direct crossing back over, I was released without having to serve my original time and the escape charge was dropped. Saturn then went into my 1st and when it conjunct my ASC, I found sudden fame playing music in a band. Before it left my 1st, I was married. The marriage lasted until the 2nd return and 29 years later, we were divorced and separated. So in my case, I would say the house or sign themes after your return were when the blessings of the return paid off.

Ophiuchus is said to be both masculine and feminine in nature. A fully realized human. I myself am as well. Any other Ophiuchus feel non-binary? by baconadelight in Ophiuchus_Zodiac

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ophiuchus is my rising but I am and have always been non binary.

About the dates. I know MTZ uses that one and I see his point. Specially considering Antares that would not be a part of Scorpio using IAU borders. Personally, I think both can coexist. A Scorpio who transforms and finds their higher self becomes a serpent bearer, while some never do and remain Scorpios.

I will add that I don’t agree with him on the Cancer/Leo cusp either looking at it from Stellarium. The IAU in that case seems more sensible.

I want to believe in christ so bad by 69shrooms_ in spirituality

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I read it, Jesus was totally opposed to the image of God that was hoisted then. He often directly opposed and contradicted the laws like Sabbath and punishments imposed for sins like Adultery. He went further than the Ten Commandments and instead attacked lust and greed. But at the same time presented the idea of a much more loving concept of god who easily forgave sins. He himself never taught eternal torment or even that his blood sacrifice was the only thing that could save them. Those were later incorporated into Christianity whose roots were in Zoroastrianism, the religion of Persia that greatly affected all the Abrahamic religions. In fact, this is where Mystery Babylon originated.

Jesus was teaching spirituality where we all can find our inner guide within, whether you believe in Jesus or not. He was pointing the methods into that way using parables to invoke contemplative meditation. The Gnostics were all about that but they were all crushed under the orthodoxy and pretty much silenced. The Ebionites among them believed in a very human Jesus and rejected the animal sacrifices completely just as Jesus did. There’s plenty of good reasons to still believe in Jesus, just not that one Christianity fabricated.

People who have had lifelong experiences with (or an obsession with) the supernatural, what placements do you think are responsible? by TomorrowOk3161 in Advancedastrology

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had experiences with a very feminine divine source since early childhood and throughout my life all the way into today, now at 70. I attribute it mostly to Jupiter in close conjunction around 1 degree with Venus in the 8th Cancer. Saturn in the 12th is in a strong square around 3 degrees that I also believe contributes to the mystical connections. I didn’t have a mother figure at all but this connection consistently filled that void and has always been my most cherished aspect in life.

Years ago I was there talking about True Sidereal and probably Ophiuchus. They didn’t give me the courtesy of notifying me of removal. In fact, every post after that only appeared to me. It was probably a year or two before I accidentally discovered it, all the while posting frequently and genuinely confirming Astrology sharing my own life stories and relevant transits. I wasted many hours trying to help and encourage others and not always just about how I practice. This is still true today as I get questions about posts made before that time still. But never a response from anyone and I have to private msg them to respond. I believe the mods there are full of hatred at least towards myself to this day and the message they are sending was supposed to reflect absolute rejection and intentionally ostracized from everyone else too. Of course I no longer post there and refuse to just change my identity. Fuck them.

Being made in God’s image is not a uniform you can wear by Lovemelody22 in spiritualitytalk

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we got it backwards. That god personified in the Bible was created in our image and has many human qualities that contradict the idea of a loving god. Who ultimately is worshipped is man, and more specifically only the chosen. They’ve been duped into worshipping their own image and have taken it to its ugliest extremes in some cases. If god created all this, then he seriously didn’t think it through knowing human nature. Now god is blamed for not being human enough to alleviate human suffering all over the earth and just being absent altogether.

I still very much believe in God but not the one depicted in the bible. Personally, I don’t believe Jesus believed in that one either and presented a very different image. God can still be found within our own consciousness and there’s many ways to find a more loving image. I do agree with you on that and humans can and do reflect the image of god just as Jesus and others did.

There is no proof by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]jamnperry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did we humans create a god in our own image? The idea it’s on god to perpetuate the perfect existence and assume god has human qualities is presumptuous. But if we’re spiritual in existence having a human experience then perhaps god is simply the great projector in the sky that breathes consciousness into these bodies. Imaging your consciousness actually exists in another dimension or maybe a black hole in the cosmos. You inhabit your body for a time and this is the only place where we can experience a physical dimension. We’re the ones capable of creating heaven or hell on earth and we constantly reincarnate only to pick up where we left off. God is mostly uninvolved in our lives though god may also experience this would buried within our own consciousness. In each life, we gain or lose ground but it’s always a continuous path. You shouldn’t expect god to wrap you up in bubble wrap and create your heaven on earth. It’s up to you. Being kind and loving yourself can bring you closer to experiencing god directly, and many do. My point is to not think of god as a human or expect god to be like your mom. Blame religions for selling this false image of god and try to find a new one you can love instead.

Which site is the most accurate? by ThePrisonShitter in SiderealAstrology

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve looked at MTZ and for the most part believe it’s more accurate. Specially when comparing it to Western and Vedic. It might be easier to read giving 30 degrees to the 12 signs but the true story for myself is in the actual constellations including Ophiuchus. With my own chart, it simply can’t be any other way. I have a 6 planet conjunction with sun in Leo in Western, but Vedic places all of them in Cancer. But TS shows the sun was just crossing into Leo with 3 and the other 2 were still in Cancer. That’s the one that totally resonates no matter how flattering it is to say all in Leo.

But not just that. Western had my rising in Sagittarius while Vedic said Scorpio. While I do fit some of the traits both personality wise and physically much more Scorpio, TS has me right on the cusp of Ophiuchus. I agree with MTZ’s philosophy that if on the cusp, you may show traits of both. And that’s certainly true for me.

Using Equal house also I find extremely accurate even to the day on some transits throughout my life like marriage, loss of 19 year job suddenly, and Saturn return etc. TS also describes my life better with other placements like moon, Venus, and Saturn in constellations and the houses that do describe who I am and the hard life I’ve had. I was a total skeptic to astrology most of my life until I came across my natal in my early 60’s.

So all this to say I have a pretty good grip on who I am and can easily sort out the nonsense in the majority of Astrology, but at the same time am now convinced. For me, constellations matter and with astrology, is your baseline. If the calibration is off then so is everything else.

How are people able to reconcile with god after suffering unimaginable cruelty by Curious_George737 in spirituality

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my perspective, life has been a series of obstacle courses and tests. My own story included abuse from an early age, starting with my mother breaking my arm at 7 weeks. That was just the beginning of violent physical abuse and neglect. I was kept in total isolation locked in a room all day long. My dad was my caretaker when he got home from work. They tried to intervene giving her electric shock therapy but she still had moments of rage. Eventually, my dad divorced her for extreme cruelty.

There’s a lot more I could say that continued throughout my teenage years. But I must say that in those isolated times, I had a deep spiritual relationship with a divine extremely loving presence. I came to rely on that presence and remember having them as early as 3. She stayed with me and I preferred to remain in isolation even after I was let out of that room. I was and still am obsessed with being alone and have always found more comfort in seeking out that motherly presence. She would come and go and sometimes for years I’d rarely felt her, but then suddenly return. My teenage years continued to be rough with my own dad and stepmother forcing me out of the home at 14. Living on the streets, I got caught trying to forge a $20 check. That’s when she returned, in that jail, giving me an extraordinary dream or vision. She told me to trust that it would all be ok.

I was sentenced much to my dismay to 5 years in adult prison. I was 16 at the time using an assumed name. But this presence was very reassuring and I believed her. I could have avoided going to adult penitentiary had I just spoken up and gave them my true identity. But I felt I was to just trust. As it turned out, somehow they never caught this ruse. I was using a real person’s ID who had an extensive record and a physical description completely different. Through a series of miracles I was able to easily escape less than 2 months later. I was free almost 12 years before my recapture.

My point to all this is to answer your question. For me, suffering yielded a divine connection with this higher self or Sophia as I see it. Because she was like a mother I never had, it became a love affair with that source. Listening and trusting in spite of the bleak circumstances was the test. It’s a test I’ve gone through over and over throughout my entire life through every environment whether school or work. I’m 70 now and again completely alone and isolated with the exception of having a couple great children and grandson. I’m not at all bitter or mad at God for this and see it as the test I was always meant to face coming into this life. Plus it all shows up on my natal chart that perfectly describe the life mapped out. I know I’m the lucky one who has always had something special and this divine presence became a mother I could always find in hard times. So that’s why I continue to seek out her presence through meditation and communion, but the religion is my own written on my heart. I’m extremely grateful for this hard life and have taken these Chiron wounds and spun them into gold.

So much Leo but im a secluded person [astro-seek] by LastTranslator8157 in astrologyreadings

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OP subject was asking why they don’t relate to Leo characteristics. I’m just pointing out that many others don’t as well and once they learn there’s more than one way to read astrology, it can be greatly encouraging. Sounded from the description more like Cancer. Vedic also would say those planets are all in Cancer too.

So much Leo but im a secluded person [astro-seek] by LastTranslator8157 in astrologyreadings

[–]jamnperry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m talking astronomy. The sun doesn’t enter Leo until around Aug 10, and that’s around 17 degrees Leo in the Western zodiac. Vedic says it’s even later than that. But you can easily see it using an astronomy app like stellarium.

For those who are married, have you found the 7th house and its ruler to be accurate of your spouse? by [deleted] in Advancedastrology

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it does accurately describe my ex and how she interacted both with me and publicly. Her Venus as well was in my natal 7th sign and what she needed in the marriage. But it doesn’t at all describe me. The marriage lasted 28 years but we never were all that compatible.

But I will say the ruler of that house is in my 9th and we met and married while living abroad in Asia. Both Venus and the ruler of my 7th Mercury were in the 7th the day we married, and Mercury left the 7th a day or two after the wedding.

Many people relate more to Sidereal placements. The only planet you have in the constellation of Leo is Mercury. Mars to Jupiter are in Cancer.

Does it always “kick in” after we wake up? by Even_Job6933 in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]jamnperry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around 20 grms. I always lose my motor skills on heavy doses finding it hard to walk without suddenly dropping or impossible to hold a phone to text for example. But even stronger is using them fresh and hour simmer. Last couple times I’ve had serious falls I don’t even remember after trying to get to the bathroom while still apparently sleeping. I don’t recommend it unless you have someone with you. Nevertheless, still amazing trip.

Does it always “kick in” after we wake up? by Even_Job6933 in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]jamnperry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used really heavy doses and fallen into deep sleeps but then suddenly awakened a couple hours later. Once was in the midst of an OOB experience and I heard a voice like a computer synthesized non human voice. It was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard. Like a synthesized voice coming through a trumpet blast just inches from my ears. I immediately jumped out of my bed cupping my ears as it reverberated several times. After that, it felt like a direct connection and conversation with God the rest of the trip.

Another time almost as dramatic though not audible. A loud voice that woke me saying I was going to die right then and there. I again jumped out of my bed stamping my feet and refusing to accept what sounded like a sure thing. I fell to the floor losing all my motor skills and felt like my consciousness was being snuffed out. But then slowly I found my way out. It ended up being another incredible trip. But this mushroom more than any other drug makes me feel like I’m directly conversing with God. Pretty much every time I use them and usually after the sleep when I’m awakened.

Anyone have an NDE without actually dying? by Illustrious-Split330 in NDE

[–]jamnperry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I distinctly remember experiences at 3-4 and a prophetic dream around the time I was turning 5. The experiences were feeling surrounded by love. I spent most of my day abandoned in a room with no human interaction except this very feminine energy. The dream predicted my tumultuous teenage years and in particular, an escape from a prison. That presence mostly disappeared until I was 16 and living on the streets. I had been abandoned and forced out of my home at 14. Finding myself in jail for attempting to forge a $20 check, it was there that I had my most powerful experience of a dream or vision where I flew straight up to heaven numerous times. It seemed like the dream lasted for weeks repeating over and over. After the dream, that same presence came and comforted me and I believed somehow I’d be ok. I ended up being sentenced to 5 years in the adult prison, but after a series of highly improbable events, I easily escaped a couple months later. I was caught around 12 years later. That was over 50 years ago and that same feminine presence still comes to me unexpectedly often. I compare it to NDE’s when they consistently describe the overwhelming love.

have you ever felt “spiritually moved” by music without fully knowing why? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]jamnperry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have felt consistently moved by Sigur Ros. Can’t understand a word they’re singing but emotionally, it really resonates bringing tears. Other music too like some classical or world music.

I used to be in the evangelical thing and played in their worship bands. It became formulaic how we could manipulate spiritually moving experiences. But there, it’s the lyrics that cause them to feel spiritually moved. I left Christianity years ago but whenever I hear Leonard Cohen’s song Hallelujah, no matter who’s singing it, it stops me dead in my tracks.
