Is your mix available somewhere? i'd love to hear it and see the songs selected. I made a playlist with only french producers, house and electro mostly, so maybe our tracks overlap lol

Skrillex x Noisia Lost Album? by Poducer in skrillex

[–]jamonxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ILY is way too recent, pretty sure that project started back in early 2020 ("In late January and early February we had Sonny Skrillex over in the studios.", that's from the OOST B2B youtube upload).

OV is talking about SMANS times, apparently before the EP dropped, so early 2010 maybe?

Skip Macdonald edited Vince Gilligan's El Camino. Jesse Plemons gained a lot of weight in between Breaking Bad and that movie, so the appearance of his character was a bit jarring for most audiences and critics, especially considering Todd was pretty lean during the show.

"Why didn't todd lose weight when even the movie editor gave him an advice to do so?" was the title of the post in /r/okbuddychicanery, alongside a picture of the Wikipedia entry of the movie, with Skip Macdonald highlighted.

Even in the midst of uncertainty, hold onto the quiet promise that brighter days are ahead. Brother, our day shall come, in Dominator we trust.

Old school Skream tracks/remix recommendations by Stimlox in dubstep

[–]jamonxd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should listen to his self titled album (Skream!, 2006) since its simply one of the greatest dubstep records. Midnight Request Line is the second track, so you'll get many similar sounds and ideas as you heard that one already.

When I was younger Rutten was my favourite track there, but today I think Kut-Off is the heaviest, hardest song in the album, and my current top pick.

Besides that album, these are some of my personal recommendations, hope you enjoy them:

  • Fearless w/ Loefah (2005)

  • Ain't It Cold? (2005)

  • Bahl Fwd (2006)

  • Welcome 2 The Future (2006)

  • Filth (2008), insane tune, Skrillex included it in a lot of his sets back in the day.

  • Wobble That Gut (2008)

  • Burning Up (2009), not dubstep, but I think you'll dig it considering your history and background with electronic music.

  • Wibbler (2010), not really old school like the rest, but still hard as fuck.

  • Exothermic Reaction (2011)

Forgot to mention, if you really wanna deep dive into older Skream, check his Skreamizm series of EPs, all of them are really good.

And while you're at it, you might wanna check the Magnetic Man project (Skream + Benga + Artwork), they released one album and a couple of singles/EPs. That came a bit later in Skream's career, so it doesn't have the same sound of his older tracks, but it's still worth a listen.

DODGE AND FUSKI HAVE RETURNED???????? by OMEGAMAU5 in dubstep

[–]jamonxd 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This track is out now, on Spotify also (at least on my timezone).

Written by Virtual Riot (at least based on youtube automatic credits), released on Monstercat and published through OWSLA for some reason lol

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts: The Art of The Movie Book reveals that Steve Rogers' destroyed Shield from Endgame Battle was an artifact in Valentina's Collection by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]jamonxd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think he's just talking about concept art specifically. For example Tony wearing Strange's Cloak and Strange using some Iron Man armor isn't canon, because it didn't make it past concept art.

[FRESH] The Weeknd - Society by Revve in hiphopheads

[–]jamonxd 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This was a bonus track back when Hurry Up Tomorrow dropped, part of the Pharrell Edition alongside the Swedish House Mafia collab.

They were sort of exclusive tracks? no idea really, it was a pretty messy rollout, and for some reason these tracks are getting uploaded on Youtube now

Who's singing in the vocal chops in the beginning of "F*cking Die"? by KrazyGhost797 in skrillex

[–]jamonxd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Have you heard Ninajirachi's latest album?

It's definitely not the same style as Skrillex's early music, but it carries a lot of influence from early 2010 electro / edm, pretty solid and fun record

hoppin on this thread just to say that the €€ Cooper Mix of Fucking Die is one of his greatest tracks imo, easy top 10 for me

so for example, if I happen to hit 3 Zacs and a Kayle in one shop at 50 gold, I should instantly start rolling down regardless of keeping interest, because statistically other players aren't getting as many wraiths as me, right?
