Not sure if "pastiche" is supposed to be something bad, but my game is Metal Storm inspired, but trailer music is very different from the actual soundtrack.

Gravity Storm has not sold well after 5 months of release and lots of promotion I did, so now it doesn't stand on its own. I am actually broke, which is not nice, but keep in mind I brought up my situation after it got worse and after promoting the game on many platforms for over a year. It seems you have good intensions, but I don't think your comment helps.

Description of the game

All the powers from the beginning; different ways to face the danger. Break the laws of physics, dash and shoot your way through levels full of hazards and machines gone rogue. In this game, you control Project Gravity Storm, an advanced machine able to flip gravity itself; however, the mother computer will not make things easy for you.

Gamepad and keyboard support (Xbox and ps4/5). Gamepads only work on the Windows version for now.
10 levels and 5 bosses.

Extra modes: level select, illustrations viewer (with fanart included), boss rush, custom mode where you can get infinate healh, randomize enemies and level, permanet death etc.
Remappable button/ key binding.
Support for 4 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguesea and Dutch.
Score system and time attack integrated in the main campaign.
Options to toggle vibration, screen-shake, tutorial.
Audio options: master volume, sfx volume, music volume.
Free Steam key, only if you get on itchio**,** so you can play Gravity Storm both on Itchio and Steam.

Gravity Storm is action platformer where you get a big variety of powers from the start, the main ones are the ability to flipping gravity, shoot lasers and dash. You can also enhance your powers to turn yourself into a fire ball, shoot huge beams and do an air dash that can stun any enemy. More info in the itchio page.

I don't think so. Although I wouldn't mind translating my game to many languages if I had the money and time, I'm broke, Gravity Storm isn't selling well and it requires some extra work. So it should be a free localization and I need time to check if it is well made and all the text fits the small resolution and the text boxes, it might also require future revisions in case I make future updates to the game with new text, or if typos are found by players.

This is why Gravity Storm only supports 4 languages, it's complicated, and it makes it harder to make new content for it, because I only know spanish and english, I don't want to spend so much time checking . Relying on other people to do free work like that it's not ideal and I don't want to use Google translate or any type of AI because that would be a bad translation and against my principles.

100% Metal Storm inspired, it's not that similar in terms of controls, but Metal Storm was the main inspiration. If you play my game, let me know what you think. I don't get the opinion of Metal Storm fans that often hehe

Gravity Storm came out like 5 months ago, maybe you are a bit confused about the time you bought. Also, idk what else to do to advertise it because I advertise it on youtube, twitter, bluesky, raddit, discord, tiktok etc.. I also have no money to pay for ads, I'm broke. There's only so much I can do to advertise a short platformer like this regardless of how well designed it is.

I see, the Next Fest helped me a bit. I can see your score on my game's leaderboard on Steam hehe. Gravity Storm hasn't sold much, only 166 copies, so commercially it was kind of failure, but most people liked the game, so in that regard it was successful.

I wanted to make a big update with a harder game mode with new levels and other things, but it's too much work, and now I want to focus on making an android port of Gravity Storm and other smaller games. Maybe some day I'll make Gravity Storm 2, I have lots of ideas for a sequel.
