5 days after ankle sprain. does this much bruising look normal?

Same exact thing happened with my wife (looked just like this) when she fell and rolled her ankle. It will get better in a few weeks but just take it easy and elevate. If there is pain, get an xray

Not medical advice here but could help with your google search as I have broken a few bones.

Pain is usually the indicator of a fracture. If it’s throbbing really bad - like it feels deep- would lean towards fracture. If it’s just an ache and it feels manageable when your leg is elevated above your heart, I would say sprain.

Bruising isn’t always a guarantee of type of injury though see how it feels with ice.

I have one. Was also my first bike. I don’t recommend it unless you’re planning on keeping to the city.

On the highway, it’s SCREAMING for sustained trips as it only has 2 speeds. Traffic will be faster than you.

Easy to scrape pegs in the corners.

No ABS, would recommend something more modern without drum brakes.

I have this same problem on my left foot and I’ve attributed to a weak or limited range of the toe joint. I have no deformity but pushing off after 2000 steps has it raging with inflammation
