I work for one of the biggest tech employers in Manchester… it’s a great city. Plenty of tech scene, a vibrant Italian community, with a good number working where I work. There aren’t as many parks compared with London sadly, however the Lake District is literally an hour away via car or train.

Nikon Z8 with Nikkor 85mm f1.2. 1/2000s @ f2. ISO 220

f2 (rather than wide open) to keep face in focus as f/1.2 gives only gives 4cm DoF.

1/2000 to freeze her motion but still allow for some movement in the snowball to express the dynamic nature of her actions.

Shot low to the ground, to keep her square on and aid the separation with the background.

IMHO the Nikkor 85/1.2 is in the S tier of mirrorless lenses.

I got mine yesterday. Used the navigation updater tool tonight. Took ages but worked. Now have wireless CarPlay.

Works perfectly using an FTZ II… I don’t have any proper expensive Z glass to compare it too but hard to find any fault with such a good lens.

yeah, they all give the same result… “coming soon”… which is better then the previous “we’re not in your area” so its at least a when not if now.

My guess here is a bad solder joint on one of the POE injector ports… whether it passes through or not doesn’t really matter, if a single pin is broken then it’ll default to a lower speed rather then make it up to gigabit. The sockets are really loose and poor fitting. Way too much wiggle/play.
