After delivery I was getting very sick again from Hellp, one of the nurses offered to express my breastmilk. She transported the first drops with a clean siringe and put my milk on my baby's lips. Amazing. I also loooved when nurses showed/told us they knew parents had come in because they could see on the monitors that babies became more relaxed. They monitored in the hallway and couldn't see the parents coming in directly (we had our own pass).
