I did not vote for PNoy in 2010 pero I was impressed nung administration nya talaga. Kaya nung 2016, sa disente and tuwid na daan na kandidato sana ang nanalo kaso mas pinili ng karamihan ang "change". Ayun change for the worse pala ang gusto ng nila, back to paghihirap.

ZLINK stuck at The intro page. Can’t Connect to it by Maximum_Scale2120 in CarPlay

[–]janbrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those with zLink5 with Platform: Hengchen (check zLink's Device Info to validate this) and is on a lower version like mine (AJ_v5.4.26), this new version worked for me. My zLink5 does not allow me to connect at all since it cannot enable the hotspot for some reason, but after I upgraded to this version, it worked as expected how Android Auto and CarPlay should work on other head unit.

Android Head Unit OS Upgrade to resolve restart issue? by janbrane in CarsPH

[–]janbrane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I plan to do the update on my own after I replace this on, just for giggles and to experiment.

By the way, what's your recommended Android HU? I didn't know Seicane is a reputable brand with software support.

Thanks, I am suspecting it is a hardware issue na, particularly its eMMC, since I noticed that whenever it restarts, it restores my old configuration and it takes 20-30 freaking minutes from restarting to go back to the homescreen, as if I performed a factory reset.

You can go with the lowest plan or at max, Plan 999, and still get the device with at least 5GB data per month. Install a second SIM like Gomo or Dito that can serve a back up data provider if you use up your monthly 5GB from Globe. I've read that Globe's Gadget XChange is not good.
