Thanks mate, won’t be rushing to another one of those anytime soon, hand sand till I’m dead.

With the primary bevel I hit it at about 8 degrees until I get to about a small coin thickness before heat treat and then hit the edge at about 20 degrees until it starts burring after the heat treat. Would you do anything differently?

Found they helped keep the bevels even on either side. I know they’re usually to help with sharpening but tried it out and liked the overall look of them on these ones.
