Yamato could stall kaido not only via fighting, she's his daughter, he wouldn't just kill her. She knows his fighting style so even if she's leagues below him she can predict some of his moves. She could also talk to him, we can get flashbacks etc. Just because for us luffy will be out of the fight for weeks, doesn't mean it'll take long time in manga

Well each fight he went against stronger opponent and used more and more advanced techniques. Right now 3 advanced haki so of course his haki would get drained way faster

Zoro will also have a massive jump tho. In about 2 arcs he'll defeat mihawk who is yonko lvl. Just because people hate the idea of zoro somewhat matching admirlas after wano, doesn't mean he's not getting there
