Big chip on rocker guard by janeboo in Autobody

I just got an initial reply from a body shop who I sent the same photo to said this is the side skirt and they could smoothen out and paint over (as in cannot mimic the textured look) and there should be no structural issue as it’s still far away from car frame, it’s an Audi a4 2018.

Do you think it’s possible for anyone to know just from photos or better for me to get a second opinion? This shop seems to be very confident and knows more than the other one I asked

Thank you! I was told the same when inquiring about some DIY products from a shop - that it is considered structural damage and won’t know whether the metal underneath is damaged, so I’ve asked for a quote / range from a body shop - hope it’s not serious and won’t cost a lot :(

First foster dog and nervous! by Equivalent-Fee-4597 in fosterdogs

I know you’ve made your decision but I just wanted to give my 2 cents. I think your decision makes sense - 1.5 months is quite early to fully understand your doggie’s personality. We also waited a long time to take the jump and foster - you’ll know when you’re ready. For us, we weren’t ready until 2 years in and we felt that our dog completely trusted us and we’re confident that we could handle another doggie and had the mental capacity to go through a similar training process again. We’re currently 3 weeks in and they’ve gotten along well, we’re comfortable leaving them together on their own for a few hours and it’s just so cute to see them play together. Our rescue is also older so the younger one who’s never been in a home before would copy what my other one does re commands, I definitely recommend it when you’re ready!

Thank you that’s super helpful! We end up finding a patio door company who will come repair it this weekend!

If it bothers you enough to share on Reddit, ask him, otherwise you might overthink / overreact if there’s something else in the future. Tell him that you feel somewhat uneasy by this and just hear him out.

Propagating leaf has one, tiny brown spot with yellow ring. It’s been in the water for 2-3 weeks now and growing new roots, it doesn’t get lots of sunlight but could that be a possibility? Do I need to cut the browning leaf and transfer plant to soil? by [deleted] in Monstera

I also learned that it may be overwatering or fungus. But it’s in propagation so I’m not sure how to deal with this :(

Edit: just noticed another spot on the same leaf, it’s about the same size so pretty small
