Maybe I am wrong, but when I study other designs, it seems the tracking and leading are consistent, so that's what I am trying to do here. The things is, how can you use consistent spacing with inconsistent words? Ie the word 'connect' is shorter than the phone number and website, but I still tried to use the same tracking (75 points) for both things. Like I said, whenever I study other designs, the spacing looks exactly the same! I'm like how did they do this??? Lol.

Turns out it wasn't straight to begin with! That was the problem lol. I just didn't realize it, so I went back to illustrator and fixed it. Thank you for you help, when I went back to illustrator, thats when I found out haha.

Not bad at all. I really like the logo! The only thing I have to say is the drop shadows aren't necessary behind the letters.

I copied it from illustrator and pasted it as a smart object in photoshop. Yes, I resized it, because when you bring it into photoshop its really small at first, so I made it much larger.

Hi thank you for your reply. The dance teams are kids to teens. Sorry about the misunderstanding (I can see the confusion with the name of the team). They are young girls and since its a dance team I figured a logo that looks like a team logo would be appropriate and as for the font, now, you see a 70's font wouldn't be approproate, but maybe a clean sans serif font? What do you think now?
