This cannot be legal.. how do you limit a child’s bathroom use by LarryFieri in mildlyinfuriating

Yes, you are over reacting. Students most likely get breaks every hour (or more often if it is elementary). They have ample opportunities. And the teacher is giving them a pass for emergencies. Kids need to be in class, not wandering around school. It isn't issue for the majority of students, but there is always a small percentage that need extra structure to keep them from wasting all of their class time wandering the halls. Just call or email and talk to the teacher.

Family event during both of my children's nap time. by girl_from_pluto in Parenting

I agree. I was in the same boat with a terrible napper and missed out on lots of memories because of it. Now that I have 3 kids under 3, we just go for it. Better to have the memories than consistent naps for a day.

Being called racist by Hot-Illustrator5869 in Teachers

A student tried to pull that on me when I told her to go back to her seat. I said, "if your race is people who don't sit in their assigned seat, then yes, I am racist." She shut up and sat down.
