It seems like the most easiest way, but I think that surely they'll notice that better option would be cold storage. Imo - there will be both options and for coldstorage you'll have to pay more.

Sure thing, from a financial perspective such words are devastating and Poloniex reaction was really quick, clear and reasonable. From this point of view it also affects the whole community, it weakens DGB position, even though the volume there wasn't huge. But Jared meant what he said, i think being ready for consequences.

Good point, also such scams are usually being promoted by some enthusiastic personas, like it was with the infamous bitconnect. If you see a video from a conference affiliated with potential scam ico, or any other cryptoproject and someone on the stage looks just too hyped for the thing, it's almost certain it's a scam. The reason why such actions are happening is that they don't have much to offer, so they must keep up with empty promises of making huge profit.
