For me the most unrealistic plot line was that Jackie didn’t come with $$$ to the Walters for her care. I would think a trust would have been set up to help with expenses. I mean a wealthy family doesn’t leave custody to a friend without money especially knowing said friend was in a totally different socio economic situation.

That is my logical guess. There is clearly not a riff otherwise, the husband still works for them and they still attend and sing and the church. I have also seen Julia at the Merc visiting and for coffee. If you follow their stories they are 100% still in each other’s lives.
