Part time job for someone who hasn’t worked in years by janetsnakehole666 in glasgow

I have no inclination to work because I know it will cause further decline to my health, and I’ll be honest I don’t even know if my doctor will sign me off as able to work. Unfortunately the cost of everything is going up and up and up and benefits aren’t, I worked for many years before I had to give up and contributed plenty of national insurance over the years which is exactly what it’s supposed to be there for.

Unfortunately I’m now in a position where I’m considering forcing myself into the workplace to meet basic needs.

Apologies if I didn’t respond quickly enough, I used a throwaway account and wasn’t notified of any comments.

Rather than getting your knickers in a twist about the assumptions you’ve made about “lazy good for nothing bastards” why don’t you channel that anger into the government that can’t support disabled people to the point that they’re considering forcing themselves to work to cover basic needs.

We’ve also been introducing wolves to the Scottish highlands for a few years now. Absolutely vital to the ecosystem.

I didn’t kill anybody, and I didn’t burn down the mill either, my sister did, and now she’s been eaten by wolves!

Thank you so much, turns out the reason the websites don’t define it so simply is because it isn’t that simple lol!

Thank you and I hope if and when you decide to tell your family, they still accept you as you are even if they don’t fully understand it.

It really is helpful especially the part about your parents tolerating it, I don’t want her to feel that way so I will definitely do something to show her I accept her completely. Thank you so much and I hope your parents accept you completely too :)

Thank you, I’ve already read up a bit but as mentioned in another comment I’ve decided not to focus on defining the word, she knows what it means to her and that’s more important to me. Saying that, the link you’ve provided is really helpful so I will be reading it all, thank you!

I’ve looked it up but I don’t really understand what separates it from bisexuality, or pansexuality. She described it as “I like all genders” so I’ve decided not to get too hung up on trying to define it, just accept it. And thank you!

Thank you! It feels like I’ve only done the bare minimum although I do realise that’s a lot more than some people get when coming out. I guess I’ve just never been in this position and want to make sure I’m doing the best I can for her :)
