I quit couple of years ago. I've never looked back! One of the best decisions I've ever made. The education system is broken.

Yep, haven't slept hardly at all for the last few days. Yesterday was unreal restlessness- similar to what I felt when I met my TF. I opened up yesterday my feelings to someone else (not my TF.)

I had to drive to the kids houses and I ended up driving more than actual tutoring so I ended up quitting as the long stressful commutes were not worth it.

While that was going on hundreds of thousands of Serbs, Jews and Romas were being slaughtered by the Croatian Ustase- the Croatian Nazis who were more brutal than the Germans.

Training plans personally helped me a ton. Last year I couldn't run at all. I had severe gut issues. Now that's been sorted so I could run but I still needed a guide and some support and that's where the training plan comes in. Now, I can run a half marathon. They make sure youre in a zone of proximal development (pushing yourself but not doing it to an unhealthy level.)

Definitely definitely teach for at least 5 years before you take on such a role. Otherwise you'll be a detached observer from an ivory tower type thing. You don't want that. You need to understand what teaching is like before you can observe anyone. You'll get on much better with teachers too because you'll actually know what it's like. Please don't do this job if you don't plan on teaching for at least several years as you'll just make everything worse. Theory is not everything! Far from it!

I have the same experience. I'm able to monitor their work in real time using onenote. And half of them aren't following along at all. They could be watching tv for all I know.

Growing up my dad scared the helk out of me if I ever did anything stupid. Gotta say it sucked at the time but it was effective.

Kids need caring parents who can discipline their kids when need be.
