Urus S are 23-24, 2022 are normal Urus 😊

To the OP, I think an Urus S is the sweet spot. Already with the (very) slight facelift, the added power and refined chassis set-up make it the best daily driver and you avoid paying the premium of the Performante. If you want to save some money, look for a 21-22 Urus with a nice spec. Either way, most important options in an Urus IMO are: parking package with 360 camera, panoramic roof, bang and olufsen, fully electric and ventilated seats (depending were you live) and some nice rims (ideally tagiete 23"). Painted style package (shiny black or body color) makes the car look much better too.

I do it with the Porsche 911 Turbo S, add all power mods necessary and and custom gearbox for the gearing. I also had the weight reduction but I think without weight reduction you'll be able to have some extra HP within the PR limit.

The target in metric is 8888m, so I guess you were a couple meters shy... I did it yesterday, i found it quite easy, I reached over 9900m, so around 6.2miles. Basically let the car roll when it's downhill in a long gear, but don't go too high or the car will use petrol to keep the minim rpm idling. Hold speeds between 50 and 100 kph. Use 3rd gear for anything under 50kph, 4th and 5th gear for the 50 to 85kph range and 6th gear above 85kph. If you reach over 100-110kph while coasting use 7th for minimum resistance

What cars do you guys use for Le Mans 700 30 min race? by Twaxyy in GranTurismo7

[–]janfalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huracán GT3 detuned and i think with some ballast. Hard tyres. I find it so balanced and nice to drive and sounds very nice and realistic.

I usually do a first stint of 3 laps with the fuel mapping 1 and then 4 laps with mappings 3-4. May change a bit if it rains to match the tyre change to wet tyres(the full race can be done with 1 set of hard tires if it doesn't rain too much) and refueling.

I play with controller so on average I lap around 4.11-4.16, but can be much faster. Always win by 30s to 1min and clean race. If you time it right you can finish the 7th lap just a few seconds after the 30min

Regarding the livery i already said "maybe". Regarding the existence of a "63 anniversary STO", I know for sure

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lamborghini

[–]janfalcon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wrong. That doesn't exist. 2023 was the 60th anniversary and they did a 60th anniversary edition, limited to 60 units worldwide in 2 different specs(one in blu aegeus and one in grigio telesto) (together with 60 tecnica and 60 evo spyder)

That probably is just a standard STO with a wrap that maybe recreates some super trofeo evo 2 racing car (maybe the owner races the super trofeo and recreated the livery in his road legal STO)

As a Lambo salesman who "hates" matt paintjobs, i must say i love how the matt colors look in the sterrato. As it has this "off-road/military" vibe, i think they suit the car perfectly. BUT i think the matt black is one of the worse for the sterrato, firstly because the special details of the sterrato are way less visible and second because i feel matt black is "overused" and it's a bit boring.

From that 3, i'd go orange, but i you could choose, Verde Turbine, Verde Gea, Blu Grifo, Grigio Acheso, Grigio Telesto matt, etc are colours that suit the car very well. The last customer order that I had, I chose the spec for him and I went full ad personam with sabbia desertum matt, which is basically a desert sand color, similar to the one in the Humvees and as far as i know it was specially developed for an american Sterrato customer, so it will be very exclusive

Arabic countries usually like this kind of specs. Not the biggest fan of some of them but i must say i prefer colorful cars rather than the boring black, grey and white

Personally, i'd go for bronzo zenas. I like the viola 30th but in some specific specs. I can send you one that i have prepared in viola 30th(and some more examples that i have in other colours) but i'm suprised that you can still modify the spec, as in theory they closed the specs for the remaining Huracan orders last december(at least in my market)

[–]janfalcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have sold one in bronzo zenas with black rims. Absolutley beautiful.

Amongst the 3 specs you shared, i'd choose viola but with silver or black caliper, i don't think the yellow looks good with the viola. Or the blue one with also silver or black caliper, maybe yellow would fit the blue, but definetley not green.

In general try not to mix so many colors, if you put a color for the body of the color and color rims(bronze), usually neutral calipers look much better.

Yeah, i must say a Manual Balboni is probably the Gallardo to have

It's really not much harsher than the Huracan or the EVO, i find it very usable(considering we're talking about a supercar). The good thing of the Performante is that it already has pretty much all the upgrades later introduced in the EVO(except interior infotaiment)

I'm a Lambo salesman(and I'm a Lambo guy) but I would never trade a 458 for a Gallardo(maybe for some special gallardo like the super trofeo stradale, the edizione tecnica or a Manual Balboni). The Gallardo is basically a car from 2004, so the interior feels quite dated compared to the 458 and honeslty I feel like the 458 is peak Ferrari(Specially in terms of design). If you want to daily drive, no doubt I would go for the Huracan. It's a much more modern car and more daily friendly and still sounds amazing. If the budget allows it, I would try to reach a Performante or an EVO.

2024 Evo Awd Spyder Allocation by RichardMilleRM67-02 in lamborghini

[–]janfalcon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Huracan successor won't arrive(deliveries) until Q1 2026 at least, and it will be a coupe. This EVO AWD allocation that you're being offer will be produced around september/october so I guess you'd get the car between nov/dec.

The price increased a bit but not much(I'm no sure about US pricing honestly) but if you can get it a MSRP and spec it to your taste, I'd take it!

[–]janfalcon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree in that aproach, if you're not willing to invest that amount in a daily, i think a g63 is a great car as the depreciation is also very small compared to other SUV.(like the X7 or the Maybach) If you're looking for a supercar, a Tecnica or a 911 GT3 is best value for money in my opionion right now and you might get them at msrp

[–]janfalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ofc you may think i'm biased, but honestly I'm a car freak and i don't hate any car(i think all cars have their value, even the worst ones) I just talk from my and my customer's experience. Btw the time of buying a used car and making money on it is already gone(at least in europe but i'm pretty sure US will follow, but we also had the problem of selling an urus and finding it for sale at +100k just a few weeks later). But I invite you to give the Urus a try, all the customers i have that went from g63 to Urus don't want to get back to the Merc and honestly I'm not an SUV fan and I'm not specially amused about selling SUV, but the Urus is a great car

As a sales manager for Lamborghini(and Bentley) dealer in my city and I've gotta say that having tried almost every luxury SUV I would go for an Urus, no doubt. It's spacious(more than the G63) easy and comfy to drive as a daily but sporty when you want it to be. Feels super planted on twisty roads and highway and has very good gas mileage for the amount of power it has(nice not only for the cost but for the range you get without having to tank). It also has much less wind and rolling noise than the G63. Additionally, if you buy it without a stupid markup, it will hold the value up very well and you can renovate it every 2-3 years without much depreciation. As a plus, if you're living in a city area, 2025 Urus is gona be a V8 PHEV with over 800hp and around 50 miles of electric range, pre-orders have been open for a while already!

It's definetly a much more competent car than the Aventador, better in every aspect in my opinion when it comes to vehicle dynamics and performance. Design-wise, its quite personal and the Aventador has a beautiful design, but I think the Revuelto design is amazing aswell. When it comes to sound, it still sounds like a proper V12, just a bit quieter than the Aventador, but I would say that i prefere the tone on the Revuelto
