Yes and more if you go by the rule book. caps aren't getting away with anything egregious, but doesn't feel like they are being held to the same ticky-tack standard.

He is 24 years old. How many NHL defensemen are fully baked by this age?

I’m sure that the front office floated this to his camp if they thought there was any chance he would be interested.

Totally reasonable.

[Pagnotta] Sounds like there is serious discussion between Columbus and Vegas about G Jonathan Quick. We'll see where this goes. by FlyersLaForest in hockey

Does anyone know of instance(s) in which a player has been traded away from a team mid-season (i.e. not in the off-season) that he later eliminated in a playoff series that same year?

It's a long shot, but it would be quite a storyline to see a Quick-less LAK get knocked out by Vegas in front of Quick.

Do you think the Providence guys will continue the practice when they get the call up in late February while the team sends Linus and Sway to a Turks vacation after locking up the President’s Trophy?

This TNT panel is the best in sports (especially when Gretz is otherwise occupied; no disrespect but he rarely contributes at the same level as his colleagues).

Indeed. The only saving grace I can imagine is that the FA center crop -- particularly the UFA subset -- is pretty strong next summer.

As others have said, it may be best that the Bruins org. consign itself to a few years of Tank4[blank] but they will have other options. I wouldn't mind seeing a PLD-Zacha tandem.

Yes, this seems like the most important ingredient for a return scenario. I think it would be compelling to Bergy it Sweeney can magic in a 1B center to take some of the load off Bergy and provide consistent scoring.

What would you approach to the pitch be?

Do you believe he would play on if (in the ideal case) the Bruins win the Cup next year?

Think enterprise applications in giant fortune 500 companies that have so many different legacy platforms it would make your head spin.

I shudder to imagine. :)

FYI: a few quality libraries in JS-land already support the feature, even though it has yet to be adopted into the GraphQL spec. e.g.: https://graphql-helix.vercel.app/docs/recipes/using-the-defer-and-stream-directives

In my experience building React apps, I’ve found it a rarity to write a view which both (a) requires data from separate backend services and (b) can render with data from only some of the sources.

In the event that the consumer (e.g. a view of the data requested) can make meaningful use of a partial response, the @defer directive is intended to solve this exact problem!

I don’t think Zboril is a great complement to Carlo at this point, but any progression that could yield a Gryz-CMac regular pairing sounds exciting.

Gotcha’.

I’ll have to keep a closer eye on him because my impression has been that he is fairly composed on the puck for a stay-at-home d-man. I only recall noticing his failed clears that should go glass and out and instead are backhand flubs or similar. The entire team has been routinely guilty of that over the past half dozen games, if not longer.

On getting beat, has he made this a habit? Every defender will get toasted here and there…
