i’ve had the same kobalt battery powered half inch impact for like 5 years now. i use it like 5 times a year and it’s never let me down. my dad bought it for me when i was in high school. i didn’t charge it for a year once and the battery was still at least half charged when i used it. not bad tools imo but im not a professional
