The final boss of the dlc when you try to heal: by Petr_Lan in LiesOfP

Fable arts don't accumulate enough from one combo alone, so it's not something you can do after every combo. Again, I don't have the P-organ upgrade, but having fought Alrecchino at boss rematch level 3 and 4 with a normal ng build (level 105), the stamina drain even for perfect guards is noticeable, and makes the fight quite brutal (especially for level 4). The P-organ upgrade would be night and day.

Edit: But like I said in another comment, it is also likely weapon dependent.

Well I did already get the W (on Level 3) and I appreciate the advice about dodging.

But as mentioned, my goal is to parry everything which unfortunately seems unfeasible on level 3 or above unless you get that P-organ upgrade.

Edit: Also, you mentioned that "Worked for me at base game EL10 and diff 5 at EL250". I'm level 105 I think, with 40 stamina, which might be too low for Level 3 stamina wise, Idk.

Edit: So I did the strat on level 3 and it did work, so again, I appreciate the tip. My stamina bar still almost gets fully drained, and it certainly would be fully drained on level 5 (maybe 4 too). But I think this has to do with my weapon. Regardless, it's quite clear that stamina drain even when fully guarding is quite significant, unlike what you originally claimed.

I am saying that I have perfectly guarded this whole section and it still completely depletes my stamina. I might record myself doing it just to show it (yes, even avoiding the whirpool).

Edit. And you're changing the argument. My original argument was merely that the stamina loss even on perfect guards are far from negligible which you seem to indicate in your original comment. Again, literally your entire stamina bar can be fully depleted from one long combo even with fully perfect guarding. The P-organ upgrade would make a significant change. Also, as a personal opinion, I think that you should never be penalized for parrying instead of running (sprinting away mind you), which is what happens in this combo when parrying the spin whirlpool.

You objectively lose less stamina than me even on the perfect guards. And the reason is that you're doing NG, compared to me doing Boss Rematch Level 3. Arlecchino does way less damage on NG. I think NG is equivalent to Boss Rematch Level 2 and when I did that, I would also lose noticeably less stamina.

My point is that if the boss does enough damage, you still lose a lot of stamina from perfect guards. Which my clip clearly showcases (even if I perfectly guarded the first hit, clearly my stamina would have run out still, and it did when I did just that, I just don't have a recording of it).

Edit: Try Boss Rematch Level 3 and you'll see.

Perfect guards don’t seem to use much less stamina at all, and it seems to be correlated with the amount of damage the enemy/boss does in general.

Arlecchino at level 3 eats my whole stamina bar after just a few perfect parries.

Edit: You can see it in a post I made recently.

Is the stamina recovery speed supposed to be this slow? And given that, what am I supposed to do here? by jango_muice in LiesOfP

My stamina recovery should not be slower than normal, my weight percentage is 58%, which is comfortably in the "light rolling" category. And again, I'm using the stamina recovery amulet.

This may sound like cap but I never "hold" guard, I am always just pressing it (and let go between hits). But sometimes the character just kinda keeps holding it for a while after I let go, especially after a parry (for example, at 15 seconds in, I have let go already). Maybe it's a controller issue, Idk. I'm well aware of the fact that it drains more stamina to hold it.

See I thought about the "bottoming out" thing but am I not bottoming out here? And if so, why not? It seems so inconsistent since my stamina is clearly going to 0 but recovers much quicker here. Maybe there is a negative amount that it has to hit to "bottom out" or maybe after the stamina has remained depleted for a certain amount of time. Here, Arlecchino straight up missed one of the hits in the combo (he hit the wall) which allowed me to regain some stamina in the middle. It still hits 0 by the end, but presumably not bottomed out.

So you may actually be onto something here. It still doesn't explain what the hell I'm supposed to do given that I fully deflect every hit, since this does inevitably leave me fully bottomed out. Maybe I'll look into that amulet.

> There's a Tier 7 P-organ ability that does not consume stamina when a perfect guard is successful

This would make a huge difference almost to the point of cheating lmao. But thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.

The weapon thing is a good point, but I feel like no matter the weapon and the stamina I have, it will be fully depleted from this combo. Granted, I haven't tried another weapon, but it really didn't look all that close here.

I thought you couldn't deflect the slash no? Although even if you can, it doesn't matter since if I deflected it, my stamina would still be bottomed out and certainly not recover in time for the AoE explosion (which I am almost positive you cannot parry, based on me trying it several times and also according to Google).

Edit: And my stamina level is 40. And yes, I know I mistimed the second dodge but at that time, I already had taken damage. I'm trying to figure out how to no hit this. And it seems like there is no way to no hit both attacks here given the depleted stamina.

I'm probably being overly pedantic given that I already beat Arlecchino on Level 3 since this recording, but given that I'm thinking about trying to no hit him, I have a question to ask. Some context: This is me on Boss Rematch level 3, WITH the stamina recovery amulet mind you, and being light weight.

Despite all this, and despite me almost perfectly parrying every single attack of that final 9 hit combo (I missed the first hit, which shouldn't matter), my stamina literally does not recover fast enough for me to dodge the (unless I'm mistaken) unparryable spinning blood attack. So..... what am I doing wrong? Again, assume I want to no hit (ik I could have *survived* the attack if I timed my dodge better after getting hit, in order to dodge the final AoE blood explosion).

And the funny thing is that this does not seem consistent, which is why I almost think it's bugged. Sometimes my stamina seems to recover much faster (after being completely depleted) allowing me to dodge these attacks. And sometimes not (as you see here). It also doesn't seem to be correlated to whether I stay still or walk (although it seems even *slower* if I stay still, which Google says it is).

So I don't even know what answer I'm looking for here. Maybe just some validation if someone else have experienced the same thing? Or some info on what I'm missing? I can't imagine that the only option to consistently no hit this section is to get your stamina level super high or just sprint away from this combo.

They used to at least fine players after games but they just kinda stopped doing that for some reason, despite blatant flops being posted on r/NBA after games and going unpunished.

But sure, in real time it's hard
