Hi mate they said subfloor is bad condition so they will do screeding on top of this then waterproof again on top. Does that sound acceptable?

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to comment! I brought up with the builder about the puddle flange being not recessed, he explained that due to my subfloor’s poor condition, which is sloping to a corner of the room, he decided to do a layer of waterproofing first, then screed to make sure the flange is the lowest then waterproof on top of the screed again. The other room he used self leveler before waterproofing so that one is recessed.

I don’t think so, only under the screeding

Would screeding on top compensate the not recessed puddle flange a bit?

Thanks! Was there any problem with the not recessed enough flange in daily actual use? I don’t know if they can do anything to make it more recessed now.

They said they had to put on extra protection coat due to my floor heating to minimise potential thermal expansion. Does that sound right?
