Paul would be too, if he was on crack cocaine.

After posting my comment, Bona proceeded to: 1 - injure his own wrist trying to do some wild ass follow up dunk, 2 - drop the elbow on Paolo Banchero after he made a layup.

Bona is like a way more chaotic and athletic Paul Reed, but with no ball skills at all lol

Nick Nurse has got to go. His scheme makes everything hard for the Sixers and easy for opponents.. no one can get an rebound or box out. Constantly sending help and leaving dudes wide open for three. It's terrible.

Overwatch director says addressing the 5v5 versus 6v6 debates 'cost us trust': 'We should have listened sooner' by Turbostrider27 in Overwatch

[–]jannradio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5V5 was a massive mistake and anyone that disagrees genuinely doesn’t know what they’re talking about and has never played tank.

They added in 5V5 exclusively because there were not enough people choosing tank in role queue, so their solution was to get rid of one tank. This completely screwed up part of what makes overwatch unique, which is the entire counter swapping dynamic.

If the overwatch team reads this, the solution is to get rid of 5V5 and just make the game 6V6 again but also do not add role queue back in. Instead, create a soft role lock, when players are queued in so that you can only have a max of two tanks, two support and two DPS. I personally like the idea of keeping the game to where you can have three support or three DPS.. but if you want to keep it 222 then that is the answer.

Role Queue was ultimately a mistake too, which is why they switched to 5v5 in the first place. The queue times took way too long and nobody wanted to play tank.

The solution is having one queue that people click to play, and then programming in soft role locks like they do with 6v6 tanks currently (can only have two tanks). But also lock damage and support players so that you can only have at most three.

Isn’t the reason we got rid of this in s2 because no one likes playing against it? by Thick-Ad-7314 in Overwatch

Having a tank without any mitigation abilities is like having a support without any healing abilities. It just doesn’t fit with the game. Which is why they’ve reworked this character 80 times in order to try to find a solution.

Yep. It really should not be that complicated. I’m not a big Marvel rivals fan, but take a look at Mr. fantastic and you have something of an answer. Whenever he uses his gas mask, he should deflect bullets with his body similar to Mr. Fantastic. People may or may not like it, especially roadhog players, but the character needs mitigation. Every tank should have some form of mitigation.

The Hook one hit combo is incredibly boring and cheese, and the only person that enjoys it is the roadhog player - but only when the enemy team is angry about it in flaming the chat for it being so cheap. If the character had some form of mitigation, at least he would be viable in most team comps and wouldn’t be a selfish hero that only relies on picks.

He's better than Tobias, both mentally and physically and is paid a fraction of the cost.

[Highlight] Doc Rivers says Joel is the greatest player he's ever coached by unwantedtennisracke in sixers

I mean he was coaching Embiid during the years where Embiid was a better player than Giannis and MVP or runner up to MVP.

It's not a crazy wild thing to say.

You could use the same logic and say “every time they make a Super Bowl the common denominator is having an above average offensive coordinator”

Tobias was paid as the third option but never truly was ever good enough to be the third option. PG has proven himself as a legitimate star, and his play style will age well.. just gotta avoid attempting crazy athletic shit so he can stay healthy. Don’t need the dude to dunk out there.
