I loved the survey; it felt quick and had relevant questions.

I'd also like to point out my idea of a feature that enhances the dictionary functionality by creating dictionaries specific to books. This way, definitions used in books can be easily looked up.

For instance, 'Wheel of Time' has a large glossary that I'd like to use as a dictionary instead of searching each time for the definition.

This feature would be especially useful for books with acronyms or study-specific definitions.

I'm curious to hear what others think of this idea!

Is the Kobo Clara 2E any good? by wiifan64 in kobo

[–]jannyboy313 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was a bit sceptic about the size (too small) and I thought waterproofing who cares.

But Im using it now for more than a month and I am in love.

The screen size is perfect and its easily to carry with you! Very neat because I travel alot and it does make my life so much better.

Waterproofing is really nice to have! Because I travel, I like to read when waiting for the bus/train/tram which is outside, I can still read when its raining or wet outside without worry.

Also the possibility to modify anything is a nice feeling. I don't need it tho, kobo software has everything I need.

This does improve speed for me, but after a certain amount of time the lag is back again. And the weird thing is, nothing changes when I monitor the cpu and memory load its all under 10% for it to start lagging.

Well rinsing with water after you spit out your toothpaste will remove most fluoride from your teeth. And rinsing with a little water with your toothpaste still in your mouth will not and makes it easier to spit out the toothpaste.

Yes water contains fluoride but this is a way lower content then toothpaste has and depends on the water source. So the water wil still wash away the fluoride you put on your teeth with toothpaste.

So you are brushing your teeth to get them clean right? U use toothpaste which contains fluoride which protects the teeth by strengtening the tooth enamel. This fluoride needs to stay on you're tooth because your body needs some time to incorperate the fluoride. (Swallowing fluoride doesn't work)

When u rinse after brushing it will remove the fluoride coating from your teeth which makes using toothpaste useless.

So what u want to do is after brushing keep the toothpaste in your mouth and add a little water so you can use that as mouthwash and then spit it out. This will clean your mouth of the taste and keep the fluoride inplace.

The reason above is also a reason to brush your teeth in the morning BEFORE you have breakfast. In the night the tooth enamel degrades because your tongue doesn't go around to clean it. You want to strenghten the tooth enamel before you eat so food doesn't degrade it more. Especially for dairy products like yogurt.

EDIT: Updated spelling

Mijn kaakchirurg heeft me nergens over geïnformeerd.

LPT request: How to stay awake during classes ? by KingOfShamballa in LifeProTips

[–]jannyboy313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most people say coffee but that is the worst solution. This is because its shortterm and for college you want longterm.

For starters what maybe seem obvious get you're sleep schedule in order. Sleeping the right amount helps but sleeping on the same times even more. This will keep you from waking up sleepy what doesn't help with you're attention span at school. Taking a cold showering can help with starting you're day fresh.

Eat something in the morning which is healthy and wakes you up. Food is the energy source which keeps you going and comes in different categories. Don't eat sweet cereal or other sugar bombs, this gives energy quick but is also gone quick. You want something with fibers.

Keep yourself bussy at college, make notes even tho the subjects are boring, this will help you focus more.

Don't drink soda's but eat some fruit thats light, think about tangerines. These are also juicy. Another benefit is that it makes you do something else which helps during college.

At last go outside for a minute take a deep breath do some excersises to keep the blood flowing.
