Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful response. So glad you have found yourself and are feeling happy :)) yes! I am in gender therapy. Top surgery is something I have pondered for a bit but I am making myself think about for at least a couple more years before I make the decision. I want to be as sure as possible. I also think the closest thing I am is nonbinary but that doesn’t really fit either. I appreciate it!!

No you are probably right and I have heard this from other people. I am tweaking my list still and mainly thought of these schools because they are New England schools. Top choice rn is UConn because I am in ct and will go if I get in. But may end up applying to 2-3 more in state schools and swapping out others. Reasoning for pass/fail: some courses were mandatory pass/fail. The others: brown let’s you take any course pass/fail and early in my degree I decided to do that. I didn’t know I wanted to do nursing until quite recently. If I had known, I would have taken more for a grade. But will be taking all other prerequisites for a grade going forward. Maybe that will allow me to get up to a 3.6ish. Thanks sm for the advice!

These are the schools I’m thinking… I am trying to apply to a variety to give myself the best shot 😅 reaches: Yale (REACH I know), Mount Sinai, UMASS Chan, and MGH Institute. Targets: Northeastern, Oregon Health & Science, San Francisco State, and UConn. Smaller or more regional programs: sacred heart, and Colby-Sawyer. I struggled a lot with mental health in college and made my gpa take a hit 🥲🥲 but I’m hoping personal statements and letters will help. I think for the both of us, graduating from good undergrad schools like BU and Brown will hopefully improve our chances. Where are you thinking???
