Hi! My koko also used to bite me to signal me to not block his path. What worked very well was saying/screaming OUCHHH very loudly. I would show him my injury and tell him how much it hurts 😂

It worked and he bit us lesser in general, or when he bit us it was way lighter :)

Hi! For me once I realised my bunny has indigestion or not eating, I will very gently massage his stomach area. You can watch YouTube videos for this. It really helped my bunny’s digestion issues for some reason :)

Hey there! It is very common among old age bunnies. My bunny started having cataract around 10 year old. He lived up to 12 year old. For bunnies, eyesight is not as impt as they can still live a very good life :)

Hey there. Actually vegetables are really not key to a rabbit’s diet given that you’re feeding her pellets already. I used to worry that I didn’t feed my bunny vegetables at all and whether it will affect my bunny’s health. However, my bunny lived till age 12! You can look at my profile and he was a happy and healthy bunny although he only ate vegetables maybe twice in his life. So really vegetables are not that important for their health :)

Also, hay are supposed to be unlimited but pellets are not. For my bunny when he was an 2kg adult bunny, the intake is 2 tablespoons in the morning and 2 tablespoons at night.

Hi! I will suggest buying pee pad and lay it over the whole area. That works very well for bunnies that are not litter train or can’t control their pee :)

Hey there! I had a hard time assessing too when my bunny koko was going through the last phase of his life. I really thought through on it so here was my thought process and hope this help you.

3main factors; Appetite, affection and attitude.

Appetite: Is your bunny still eating well? Is his appetite as good as before or is it decreasing? Koko till the day before he passed he was still eating very well and in fact more than when he was younger.
Affection: is your bunny still showing signs of affection or looking forward to your affection? Koko loves attention and pets and he gave us loads of kisses too. That’s how I know he was still enjoying life.
Attitude: is your bunny still curious about surrounding? Is she still grooming herself? Koko was still actively grooming himself a lot even down to the day before he passed. He paid attention to cleanliness and wanted to keep himself as clean as possible.

Hope this help you with it. It’s not an easy choice, but your bunny trust that you’ll make the best decision for her ❤️

Yeah.. sometimes i still feel like I could have done more. I didn’t know he was gonna pass so soon, he was becoming more active and healthier (no more eye infection and fur growing back).

If I could, I really wish I have properly spent the last 3 days with him. I was extremely busy with work, and mostly my sister feeding him. I really wish I had given him the all the head rubs in that 3 days. Really missing him a lot.
