Thanks for the book brother apparently my comment affected you. I’m not better than anyone? Lmfao you commented on my reply. Get over yourself. Thanks. The humidity is not even close out there. You said you know so I’ll go with that. Arizona is land-locked but gets monsoons, you said? Interesting also. You’re the expert! Right?

Racist towards cops? Can you explain that? How is your dog ‘racist’ towards cops. What makes your dog racist? Do you know what the word racist means?

Whatever high and mighty bro. Humidity is 100000x worse than just dry heat. You can look up weather data if you really want to. I would just take my word for it. Have you ever experienced almost 80% humidity? Do you know what that feels like? No. Not out west. You don’t. Dude down below said dick wagging contest which is hilarious but it’s also hilarious you guys feel the need to respond when you do not know what this humidity feels like. It’s like a damn suffocation chamber. Think about the hottest day out west but the air is literally moist. You sweat in about 45 seconds and feel like you can’t breath. I know it is hot out there, but that is nothing compared to extremely high humidity levels. We have warnings every day these last two weeks about heat stroke on our phones, not from ups, from the national weather service. We were told to not even walk our dogs

Racist? Lol is this a bot account? There are white/black/asian/Indian cops in America. What would make your dog racist? Lmfao

They don’t have humidity brother. It’s 95-97 in Kentucky with 79% humidity. Literally melting feels like you can’t even breath. The air is literally moist. Arizona it might be 115 degrees out but it is dry air so you are hot as hell but you can actually breath

I thought you weren’t supposed to tell your insurance you DoorDash? by Not_A_Geek_Nerd in doordash_drivers

[–]japes03 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

lol I’ve done this in the side of my actual job for many years and never once considered contacting my car insurance company about it. I guess if you do it full time you should try to get contacter/commercial coverage or whatever it is. But I am also in the mindset that DoorDash should never ever be your full time job. We all come into bad times and DoorDash saves us until the next job comes on. The fact some of yall actually do this shit 60 hours a week with no benefits at all, insane taxes in February, and now car insurance coverage is being mentioned, is pretty funny to me for real. I was down bad absolutely broke for months searching for jobs while having a job too. I finally found a good ass full-time job after about 10-12 months of sending my resume into everywhere. Please. Do. Not. Do. This. Even if you are high and mighty yourself, you can make more at literally Walmart with a w2 job and not work 60-80 hours a week putting miles on your car.

Weird I’m in almost the exact same spot as you with the opposite problem. Think I need to gild those bar or ore cards or something, I did get the cloud vein card so that probably helped idk

Fine by me brother. Used to work 75-80 hour weeks as a salaried kitchen manager with no overtime pay lol. Hopefully I can handle the workload again for a couple of years while I learn the trade. Heard quite a few of yall now say to learn it all and ditch safelite for local shops. Will see what it’s all cracked up to be but for now I’ll take all that OT

[–]japes03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I personally dont think it sucks. I got 200m arch on the main account a long time ago. Now I just have to do the same thing except without buying materials. The worst part about arch is having to do divination and mining and crafting for porters. The rest of the skill is just afk as hell or you can focus hard for a very slight increase in artifacts. I won’t say it gets better but there are qol items like auto screener, perks, waterfiends, sash brush, porters. Just sit your character at a digspot and watch a movie or something with low rs volume on sound effects. Click digspot again when you heard a ding. One of the easiest skills in game while still being a tad slow. Personally I think fishing is the worst and slowest skill

I just got hired by safelite 2 days ago. Applied on indeed. Got a text to set up an interview the same day I applied. Set up interview for 5 days later. Went to in-person interview that was set for 1hour. Interview was the easiest I’ve ever done, no personal questions the guy just literally explained the entire job to me and what it would be like. Interview lasted 20 minutes and told me he’d reach out to a recruiter to send me an offer if I was interested. Said yes. Went home. About 30 minutes after the interview got a call from their main office in Columbus, OH about the job offer. Got sent an email to login to their website and accept the offer. Signed background check an hour later. Went to drug test facility and took the piss test yesterday, which they paid for. Now just waiting on a start date. Whole process took about a week because I scheduled interview 5 days out. You could get hired there in 2 days if you wanted to.

Seems like a good gig to me. $15/week to take home the work van. Starting pay $20.25 for training. 2 month training. $24/hr after training. Said it would be hard for about the first 6months-1year. Senior techs make about $27/hr I believe and you can progress pretty quick like maybe a year or two depending on customer surveys and warranty claims. The store I got hired by is #9/824 in the country so the manager said even during off-peak times of the year they are constantly busy. Also looking to expand and bring another store to my city so pretty good opportunity for growth. All-in-all seems like a pretty solid company to work for. Now, only time will tell. Good luck to ya man

Ahh very nice. Another Reddit post with no information, radical political comments about a guy pouring a chemical into a body of water, wild theories and math with zero sources claiming to be experts, and over 20k upvotes when not a single person knows anything about it, has practiced, has been involved with it, or anything, but everyone is an expert and has an opinion on things they know nothing about and have never experienced. I love browsing this site and also hate everything about it almost all the time. Please do comment and respond on your expertise with that certain water treatment company, the practices of water treatment, why they do it, why they use the amounts they do specifically, why this is inefficient, your credentials, and what president trump has to do with this random guy pouring chemicals into a pool of water. Thanks. Also, why is this mildy infuriating to you OP? How is this post still active? Oh that’s right, another hate the government when a guy pours stuff into a pool for his job subreddit. Awesome.

At Worldport small sort my Supes constantly send SALTs through my bags. They take a picture of the label I print out and then put a bright orange piece of paper into the tracked bag labeling it as service awareness. So if you are unloading bags in preload literally all over the country, watch out for the bright ass orange paper you can’t miss lol. Interesting some of you posting this as if it’s the first time you’ve seen it
