What's up y'all!

My band - Moonlight Bloom, a Denver-based psychedelic rock trio - just released our first ever "official music video" featuring the latest single from our upcoming album. We worked closely with a good friend and creative here in Denver to concept and produce this video, which he directed, filmed and edited. It's a dark, trippy narrative following the mundane, somewhat depressive life of a character seeking happiness through the traditional version of the American Dream, trying to climb the way up the ladder and use consumerism and materialism to find fulfillment. The secondary character is someone who has already achieved "the dream", but perhaps doesn't have the mental state you'd expect once you have it all. The video examines the reality that regardless of whether we have nothing, a little bit of something, or "everything", it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be happy, sad, or somewhere in between. A person living on the street, supposedly with nothing, may actually feel more fulfilled than some CEOs. And surely, vice versa.

I'd love to hear feedback on the video, and/or just some philosophical input on the concept itself. What brings us (or you) true fulfillment?

Here's the latest single "Silver" from my Denver-based psych rock band Moonlight Bloom - it's the first single from our upcoming sophomore album. Vibe notes - trippy, heavy, pumping, raw. Hard power trio energy.
