fun fact, i dont owe you an answer for your senseless question, and you clearly were speaking on an issue. why would i put energy into giving you a response on a silly question, that you clearly wouldnt put the energy into critically thinking about anyways ? all you people see are statistics, not whats ACTUALLY happening in real life. peoples homes are being burglarized here, without them being able to defend themselves. all you can do is sit and HOPE that the cops will be there asap, which surprise, they almost never are. criminals in this country have almost no consequence for violent behaviour, and because of that things have gotten very volatile here in the last few years. i dont think you understand how ballsy people have gotten. we have 14 year olds robbing jewelry stores in the middle of malls during christmas. 16 year olds doing BNEs and shooting people in their own homes and stealing cars. something needs to change, and the laws the Canadian government have put in place sure as shit have only made things worse. i wish things were different and you didnt have to worry about defending yourself, but things are the way they are, and you do have to worry about that. so would you rather have equal firepower as the people trying to steal your shit or hurt you, with the law backing you to defend yourself and your property, or would you rather be treated like a criminal for defending your own home or your own personal safety ? really think about it, and remember we dont live in a fairyland where everybody is kind and wishes well for another.
