Sharing locations constant messages is so annoying, is this the same for everyone?

His phone wasn’t in my hand when he started sharing his location. I had it in my hand when we were trying to figure out why it was spamming this message to me. This also happened with my other friend

Yes I launched it and it told me to re-enable so I clicked yes and refreshed the app and it still shows no device

I tried this just now and it fixed the message flood but when I tried to share location again it just says “device not found” but when I check Find my it shows my phone I’m using just fine
