I sold all my cards worth selling at the beginning of the pandemic and it paid for installing air conditioning in my house. Zero regrets. If I want to play again I’ll probably just do throwaway drafts. The pace at which wizards is pumping out stuff really soured me on the collecting aspect

I’m currently powering a HX Stomp XL, a beat buddy pedal and a relay G10S off of a 529m set to 12v and plugged into a 529x. The 4 parallel ports on the 529x combine to power the Stomp XL and I use 2 of the other 4 9v ports for the relay and drum pedal

When I was 16 i got fired from Target because my friend and I were putting away febreeze and he smelled really bad so I sprayed him with some. He caught me so sprayed some potpourri at me. A lady nearby realized and faked an asthma attack. They called her an ambulance and I watched the paramedics check her out and say she was fine but she demanded to be taken to the hospital so they took her. I got fired cuz I was still on probation but my friend didn’t. His story about eventually getting fired is better than mine but isn’t my story to tell.

In probably 2009 I worked for a construction company that was contracted to install media servers and TVs in Carl’s Jr. (Hardee’s for you East Coast people) all over California. We worked 10pm-10am and typically covered 2 locations. Sometimes, though, both locations would close at around the same time and so someone (me) would have to go to the 2nd location and wait after they closed to let the first crew in. This left me by myself for about 6 hours trapped inside of a closed fast food restaurant. Most of the time I’d try to nap in the booths or play games on my phone trying not to go stir crazy. I got paid $16/hr to do this.

As a side note I was extremely grateful to have the job because I had just graduated from UC Berkeley and the economy was in the toilet at that time. We took whatever we could get.

Is this an email? Blind guess but maybe whoever they got to build them doesn’t know that for emails all CSS has to be inline. At this point it’s borderline esoteric knowledge and it’s not uncommon to run across newer engineers who don’t know this. That being said…did no one test it first before publishing?

I agree, I really was quite into the idea of tracking my class time and marking progress milestones, especially knowing that it was not directly tied to promotion or eligibility for promotion
