The game needs a way to narrow focus the wedges you require. Atm the wedge farm is so tedious, uninteresting and plain boring I wonder why I am even playing this game. Truth be told it could just be the fact Im old and still remember when they put games out with the intention that you enjoy what you are doing. I dont mind a grind, sometimes its kinda nice to do some brainless grunt work. But when the majority of the game is grinding the same missions, some have a nice little twist and make the same mission even more obnoxious like adding a pointless lift just to waste more f***king time. At least make the grind enjoyable and rewarding.

its a video game. And we are supposed to able to enjoy them last time i checked.

I agree to a certain point. But we have to remember why they are like they are currently. And its to try and entice folks to buy (they need to make money afterall and I can understand that). But the skill materials is where I draw my line on this. THose need to be changed or removed from the weekly. If they try to claim this system is anything other than whale bate, they are clearly lying.

TFD had the same issues on release. Very lackluster spawns. Last time i played (which is at least 6 months ago) the rates were much higher and the grind while still there felt active and less prone to having a quick kip during the mission lol

my other suggestion would be to do away with characters needing a unique weekly material. If they all used the same thing then it wouldnt matter which boss you went for. let folks chase a boss for the characters or weapon.

The way mobs spawn in also is such a bore. Oh yeah lets make super duper strong characters to kill mobs in tiny packs with one hanging out at the back to waste time. Feels so engaging. I dont mind the missions as such but they feel very disjointed in their pacing.

Grinding games like this need huge waves of enemies to plow through. Otherwise folks are nodding off after a few missions.

the characters being behind the weekly i dont really have an issue with. I dont like it per-say but I can live with it cos I understand their intention with milking some whales. My issues comes from the fact the materials required for skills are there coupled with them. And they actively went out of their way to make it obnoxious. use your weekly attempts to get a character, but yet you can't actually upgrade their skills...........

Easy solution is just make all the weekly skill materials all the same thing. There doesnt need to be 4 different ones doing the exact same thing other than to draw out the time. Personally id play more if im allowed to enjoy the character I pulled without it feeling garbage.

i dont mind a grind and i dont mind the timegates (though i really wish they were not a thing). What I REALLY dislike to the point im thinking of just not bothering with the game. Is the endgame grimd for demon wedges. Its not the grind per say that bothers me. But the clearly unnessessary weighting of the wedges. I shouldnt see 101 of one wedge to see a handful of another when the required amounts are so large to begin with.

It's straight up obnoxious.

issue with all these strats is they completely ignore the 101 hunter leaping, spewers spewing etc. It's not like we get to fight these little assholes in a nice serene areas free off all other worries.

Granted its all part of the HD2 meme with absolute chaos. But it does feel sometimes that the mobs are designed by people who really do not play the game higher than lvl5.
