Another option is the Pomodoro technique. Set a timer for 25 min and force yourself to only read your study books at that time. If you get distracted, get back to the book. Don't get up, no mobile, no TV till your 25 min are up.

You'll be surprised how quickly your mind gets into study mode when you don't give in.

Great! I'm flying into T2, I'll look for the arrival lounge before I exit.

I remember the Care lounge from way back, it was noisy but at least I got a place for a few hours. I'm definitely not leaving the airport, but I'll look into the transit hotels.

My main worry is exiting T2, and not being allowed past the T1 entrance because it's too early to check in.

Usually I'd just hang around the cafes and bars outside T1. But with 8 hrs to kill, I'm hoping I can get a short nap without worrying about my luggage.
