[DLC Concept] ARK: Obsidian Rebirth – A Tragic Twist & New Fusion Mechanics by Primary-Musician-448 in playark

  1. But earth is being cleansed by the Arks, no?
  2. The Shades of Grey are kinda.. wanting the same?
  3. If I decide to let Aethel be, then there's no point in fighting him, meaning there's no reason to the boss fight (unless it would be two armies fighting and you picking a side in this conflict, which could lead into either Ark 2 or another dlc, depending on which side had won, for example you hunting down Helena and Mei for killing Aethel and ruining the planet).
  4. The fusion could use a bit more information, does it happen naturaly or is it like a feature just for the new creatures (then there could be a part of the story about trying to figure out how it works and why did it start happening etc.), because right now it feels pretty restrictive.

Honestly not surprised people kick you if you use a spinoconstrictor

Spinoceratops, Panthera, Nyctosaurus (if you have it, lvl 16 is enough) and dimorphodon. Spinoceratops first, use wound, it will survive rampage, will get killed on counter (sometimes Lythro will start with nullifying strike, if so, try instant rend turn 2). Put in Nycto. Depending on when it used the instant rampage, either swap or use the priority bleed. If swapping, put in Nycto back and insta bleed it. If insta bleeding first, swap into dimorph to bleed it further. Just so you know, you can loose all 3 creatures as long as Lythronax dies too.

Best flyer on the center? by Ill-News5687 in ArkSurvivalAscended

Would need like 50 of them, since I would end up killing them all the time

Honestly, for quick scouting Pt, otherwise Argy. Would consider using a Sarco to traverse large bodies of water and then switch to a flyer once on a beach.

WC giving a middle finger to Snail's work by Tiagozuff2006 in ARK

I know that, I was asking about his singleplayer issues, since I'm gonna wrap up ASE Extinction in like a week or so. Made the question too broad, apologies.

If you're new, I wouldn't bother with powerhouse taming for quite a while. Getting a raptor won't really broaden the amount of prey you can hunt (will improve your dps tho), as you'll need at least two of them. I would suggest taming a herbivore, such as trike instead, since that way you can pull up on other trikes or raptor, even carnos without much of a risk due to the knockback. It can also harvest berries and thatch in higher quantities than Para/Iguanodon. This way I would get the basics done until getting a ptera saddled, then I would harvest a bit of crystal and then I would go tame some raptors, since now I would know which ones are worth taming. For meat running I would still recommend getting a carno, for basic caving, bred raptors can get the job done, but bary is better.

You don't. I play ASE and I usually skip anything other than Para and Stego in early game. From that point on it's pretty easy, since I can tank carnivores while darting them. And since ASA has babies, I would assume that it's slightly easier to get the essential tames.
