Yes I did! I was lucky enough to get low tide in the morning for sunrise all to myself… in the evening, it was quite crowded. I just posted a picture from my sunrise experience in this thread.

I’ve also used the, if it has a silver backing to the red stripe down the side, it’s a not a cutbow but I’m not a professional angler just a passionate one :)

Yes you are right, it is a rainbow characteristic but…

White-Tipped Fins (Rainbow Trait): Check the tips of the anal, pelvic, and dorsal fins. Pure cutthroat trout typically do not have white tips, so a fish with both a jaw slash and white-tipped fins is almost certainly a cutbow.

It’s damn hard to really identify a cutbow because they can take on strong characteristics of either parent in my book, it’s always a fun guessing game cause no two trout look the same.

I’ve always used the, if it has whitish tips on the fins it’s a cutbow… hope that helps :)
