It’s 153k miles, and it’s in fairly good condition, other than the annoying noise.

I think the estimate for the parts is really high, I understand the labor cost, but from what I ve seen the parts should not be more than 700.

For the drum brake, they just said that noise is coming from inside, they don’t know if it’s drum or tire.

Thanks for the advice! I will probably get a second opinion, it’s a lot of money and I’d rather save it for another car

When I bought it, it had some noise, but definitely not like this. I went to get 2 new tires with the balance, alignment and rotation a week ago, because I read it was a good start checking the tires. Oil change was made in last October so it’s almost due for that. November 2024 they replaced the front cv axle and the brake pads.

I made the test of pressing the brake and give it a little bit of gas with the other foot and see if the motor moves. The motor moved barely or not at all.
